The movie had no Jedi in it. Nobody wants to see a Star Wars movie with no Jedi in it.

Only twelve of those did, so I'm not sure why you felt the need to list the other forty of them. And how many of those had the same opening weekend number? And were considered a success? Do your own research, loser. Translation : None.

1.) The movie's troubled production sent red-flags that the final result would be poor.
2.) Franchise fatigue to be sure and I totally agree. There was a reason Lucas took three years in between installments and let people anticipate each film. Releasing a new SW every year is really killing people's (and mine) interest.
3.) As has already been mentioned, why do we need to learn Han's backstory? Let some things just be. I thought it was a great character introduction as it is to see Han in the seedy cantina coming off as surly to Luke and Obi-Wan then blasting Greedo.
Now having said all of that, I thought Solo the movie was OK. Alden Ehrenreich (once you get over his lack of physical resemblance to Harrison Ford, he's fine) and Donald Glover were both enjoyable as were a couple of the action pieces. It was the script that needed more work.

It’s quite simple. It’s a combination of a few things but the main factor is that the hardcore fans who would usually see a Star Wars film 4 or 5 times boycotted Solo after being bitterly disappointed by The Last Kefi.

As for why Solo is flopping...
I'd guess it's a combination of factors already mentioned. Primarily, this wasn't a movie that needed to be made or that there was much demand for. How many people actually cared to know how Han Solo got his name? How many were jonesing to see how he met Chewbacca? Especially given that the EU stuff had already done it all.
The fan backlash / boycott thing probably played a part, but I could only guess how big a part. Not that much, would be my guess.
And the troubled production reports probably put a lot of people off too.
But mostly, the trailers didn't really sell it as something that was a must-see. I suspect a lot of people were like "Meh, I'll catch it on blu-ray or just torrent it."
Franchise fatigue? No, not really. As somebody said, you only get Franchise fatigue if the movies aren't good. And so far the Disney Star Wars movies haven't been great.
Competition from Infinity War / Deadpool 2? Maybe, some, but I doubt it was that big a factor.

Part franchise fatigue, part disinterest. People can’t keep getting excited about the same jokes.

Han Solo is more than a name tag. Nothing against the actor personally, I just can't dig in like they want me to. I'm planning to see it in a week or so. I've never been so meh about a SW release in my life. 'With Howard, mystery and intrigue, for better or worse, was eliminated—fans knew what they were going to get.' www.theringer.com/2018/5/29/17405780/solo-box-office-flop-consequences

You can get franchise fatigue if you have too much of a good thing. If you stuff yourself full of ice cream, after a while you'll get sick of it even though you love it. That doesn't necessarily mean you now hate ice cream and never want to see it again. Forgive the metaphor, but I think that's what people are getting at with franchise fatigue. It's having too much of a good thing.

You can get franchise fatigue if you have too much of a good thing. If franchise fatigue was real, wouldn't that hold true for Marvel movies as well? Two films in the Marvel franchise, released 70 days apart, are the top two films of 2018: 2018 WORLDWIDE GROSSES Rank Title Studio Worldwide 1 Avengers: Infinity War BV $1,914.5 2 Black Panther BV $1,345.0 www.boxofficemojo.com/yearly/chart/?view2=worldwide&yr=2018&p=.htm

Franchise fatige and the Harrison Ford not playing Han Solo.
While there are many other factors, I think those are the main two.

Abit of fatigue and the lack of real promotion to counter the grumbling within the fandom. Somewhat similar to Justice League.

1.The Force Awakens was a lazy rehash of A New Hope. 2.The Last Jedi was mediocre and not respectful of past characters and movies. The new characters are awful. 3.JJ Abrams called fans who disliked TLJ sexist. 4.Kathleen Kennedy publicly stated she doesn't need to cater to male fans. 5.Kathleen Kennedy was photographed in a shirt that read "The Force is Female." 6.Lucasfilm writer Pablo Hidalgo trolled fans on twitter about Lando being pansexual.7.A week before the movie's release, Donald Glover put out a race baiting music video. 8.Fed up fans accomplished a mass boycott. That was actually Jon Kasdan who stated Lando was pansexual.

Maybe part of what made Star Wars seem so special back in the day was that you only got to watch it in theaters, more than once if you were lucky. Then you'd have to wait another several years for a new movie. It was an event in itself when the movies finally played on network television. There were no cable channels endlessly running them, no spin-offs, no "Clone Wars" t.v. series. If you were a fanatic wanting a Star Wars fix between movies, you had to read the books, or be satisfied with your Topps collector cards and action figures. And then, a nearly 20 year wait for a prequel series! Personally, I haven't even gotten to the point where I feel like watching 'The Last Jedi' again, let alone a completely new one already.

I haven't seen it yet but it's not much of a surprise. I think Disney is slowly killing the franchise. Of course, I'll really believe what I'm saying if Part IX has poor results. I still think Disney is riding on a Y Wing fighter on a long road to Hell.
I would have much preferred an Obi Wan backstory to be quite honest. Or maybe a Captain Needa backstory...
