After a few rewatches, it looks quite good! Heimdall is actually moving and it's really embracing the wackiness of the comics (Hela's headdress, Jeff Goldblum as a space Michael Buffer)

Good music choice, but aside from that it looks fun. Guess the movie begins on earth? I'm thinking it begins on Asgard, Thor then goes to Earth with Loki to get Odin to fix things, and Hela tracks him down and banishes him? But maybe not.

The vibe I'm getting from the trailer is that it starts on Asgard, Hela comes in and defeats Thor by destroying Mjolnir, then she basically takes over Asgard and so she banishes him to the Grandmaster's realm (Hela then betrays Loki and forces him to become her puppet), Valkyrie and her crew capture Thor and bring him to the Grandmaster, the Grandmaster forces Thor and the Hulk to fight, then later Thor, Loki, and the Hulk escape to Earth and work with Dr. Strange to find Odin and get back to Asgard, and then some more things from there up until the final battle. Also, from other things I've read, it sounds like Surtur and Fenris Wolf will be the "doomsday monsters" whom Hela will unleash to destroy Asgard, and that Valkyrie will change sides.

Just to be clear, Hela destroys Mjolnir on Earth. You can see it's a back ally almost certainly in New York, when she does this.

I saw something where a fan had made a screenshot of the part where Hela sends out the shockwave after destroying Thor's hammer, and it looks an awful lot like the person standing to Thor's right is Loki. If that is true, it'll be interesting to see how Thor ends up a gladiator on the other side of the universe and Loki is chillin' with the grand master up in the private box. I mean, I guess Loki could have tossed them through one of his hidden paths (similar to the one he pilots the ship with he, Thor, and Jane in THOR2) and either by the interference of Hela's magic or because of some other unforseen (or not, by Loki) circumstance, Thor and Loki don't land right next to each other and Thor gets taken by Valkyrie before he and Loki can meet back up.
I am so excited for this movie, it isn't even funny.

Great trailer. Not the best (IMO it's Civil War, seeing Spider Man in the MCU for the first time), but impressive. The song is a perfect match for the trailer, and Hela looks formidable.

I'm not familiar with the song for the trailer but the first few riffs reminded me of the Wonder Woman theme.

But for that first time watching it I went, "This song is very similar to Wonder Woman's theme".

Last time we saw Hulk was in that craft in AoU, so I'm really curious to know how he ended up in space.

I really like the tone for this one. Personally I think Thor works so much better with an ever present hint of comedy and self awareness so I love what they're doing here. Also Hemsworth actually has great comedic timing so it's good they're putting that to use. "I know him from work!" That line was awesome! Also: Zeppelin ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuules!

The trailer's got me super excited and I'm especially thrilled with Cate's costume. She looks fantastic and is such an amazing actress. So glad she's joining the MCU.
