I thought all I ever did here was making fun of the lowly MCU dimwit, turns out I did some educational work too. Pearls cast before the dimwits, but still!
QED indeed. Thanks, cupcake.

Well well....another list that claims it can somehow "rank" art. And of course, just like every other list like that, it's easy to disprove. You can do it in seconds. Just ask any person if they agree with the list. The instant they disagree with any ranking on the list, they prove it doesn't work. Hard truth. You can't rank art. Every person here would have their own list. I highly doubt two lists would be the same. There is no way Dr Strange is above Winter Soldier and Spider-man 2 on my list. What would be your top ten? That's what makes it even funnier... I don't know for sure. Every day it would be different depending on my mood. The movies never change but my list does. What does that tell you about art? I'm mostly locked in on my "#1s". I can't even pick a clear #1. Winter Soldier Watchmen Kick Ass Mystery Men Pretty close to putting Thor 3 up there with them too.

You're just picking and choosing because you don't want to admit that Black Panther is number 1 It's not too hard to understand. If BP is 1 on this list it means it is it currently IS the best reviewed CBM on RT. That is a fact.
But no thinking person would seriously claim BP to be the best CMB. It's not even the best MCU film (Return of the Winter Soldier is, because they ripped off Star Wars). But BP is Shakespeare compared to Raccon Turd Vol2, Fragglerock3 or Spiderboy6.
Thus dies another alleged "measurement" of art. RT of course doesn't count when we don't like the results.....just like every other measurement anyone has tried to offer up. We use them when we agree and make up excuses when we don't agree. Now the RT is not created by "thinking people". (even though it's movie critics)

You like contradicting yourself first babbling that there is no measure for art (it's entertainment btw, only the shallowest mind will find this deep enough to call it art), now talking the other way around. Shifting goalposts much? RT Tomatometer is the biggest critical aggregator, it is not an opinion, you seem not to know what that means.

There is no way to measure art. It's proven every time someone tries to do it because it fails every time. I enjoy watching the failure. I know exactly what RT is. It's not complicated or anything. It boils down the opinion of a large group of critics into a score. Obviously the whole thing is based on their opinions. Good luck denying that one.

You are moving your straw-man goalposts again, good luck denying that one. And you contradict yourself while understanding nothing, especially not RT. I give you a Rotten Tomato to crack: Films like say Shawshank, 2001-ASO, Goodfellas, LotR, Star Wars ANH/Empire or Dark Knight they all have LOWER Tomatometer-Scores than say Black Panther. BUT they, eg TDK, have HIGHER Critical Average Scores on Rotten Tomatoes (8.2 vs 8.6 to 9). Confusing, huh? So, are we finally able to distinguish statistical review aggregators based on selective factors from personal opinion or best film, and how subjective that all is? Good luck thinking that through, champ.

Good luck thinking that through, champ. Thanks for the help in pointing out there is no way to measure art. None of it adds up to anything. Every attempted measurement falls apart almost instantly. Everything is based on opinions on art...which of course are unique to every individual person. RT is obviously ABOUT opinions. That's all it is. The RT score is how many critics liked a movie, the 'average score" is how much they liked it on average. But both are flawed in that they are just opinions and there is no standard for the scoring. So the math can be off if a critic grades on a 4 star system likes one movie and dislikes another one while the opposite happens with another critic grades on a 1-10 scale. It skews the numbers so your "average score" isn't accurate either. I'm right where I've always been. You can't measure art. There is no measurement you can offer that works.
