Yeah. I have to agree with Josh. I don't think Wonder Woman will appear on the show 'cause 'Smallville' and the 'Arrowverse' weren't allowed to use her and Warner Bros stopped her from being used on screen for a long time after the Lynda Carter show so I can't see them just allowing a TV show like 'Titans' to use her now especially when 'Wonder Woman 2' is on the way but I think they will mention her at some point and I can't see them pretending that she doesn't exist in the show. Donna's backstory has changed a lot over the years and I am not sure what backstory they are going to use for this show. They might even use Cassie Sandsmark's (The second main Wonder Girl) backstory for Donna and have this Donna be some type of combination of Donna Troy and Cassie Sandsmark.
That blows. They could have Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman again and say she is retired. Where is she in Supergirl this season? I thought she was the President? Does the President not care if the World Killers wipe out the world? Why were there 2 Wonder Girls? Did one of them die? Your question was answered at the SDCC. Lynda Carter is returning in Season 4. I personally liked Cassie Sandsmark the most and I liked Donna too but I think Donna was a good character too and am happy seeing either. It looks like it is definitely going to be Donna we will be seeing in this show 'cause Donna Troy has been officially confirmed for 'Titans' now along with some other characters mentioned below. Looks Like Donna Troy Is Confirmed for 'Titans' TV Showcomicbook.com/dc/2018/06/12/titans-tv-series-donna-troy-wonder-girl-conor-leslie/ Damn. What is the deal with all the girl names. Wonder Girl, Elasti Girl, Supergirl, Batgirl, Saturn Girl, Star Girl? I know you love the characters but couldn't they have come up with something more original and why are they all girls? For the same reason all black superheroes and villains have black in their names. They were created by white men. Yeah. I have to agree with cjdull76's answer here. While I do love a lot of the characters you mentioned and think to some degree it makes sense to have Barbara Gordon and Donna and Cassie as Wonder Girls 'cause they already have a Batwoman and Wonder Woman it makes no sense why the likes of Supergirl, Saturn Girl, Stargirl and Hawkgirl couldn't have their names changed to Super Woman, Saturn Woman, Starwoman and Hawkwoman and it was annoying how they put man on most of the male superhero names but girl on the female superhero names. Hawkgirl in 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' made the least sense since the character went by the name Hawkwoman in the comic books too.

Actually apart from Hawkgirl/Hawk Woman the others you listed make sense being named as they are, Stargirls name is tied to her age, she was originally Star Spangled Kid and took the name Stargirl after Starman gave her his staff, and apparently in the future when she's older she does take the name Starwoman, so her name is tied to her age, same goes for Supergirl if you think about it, it shows the difference in the age between her and her cousin, and she's more teen like than he is so she has the younger sounding name to show it, Saturn Girl makes sense because almost most of the male Legionnaires also use the younger tags such as Lad, Boy & Kid.
Apart from the characters going by Girl who also have a Woman namesake do the "Girls" keep the Girl name even when the character is now clearly a mature adult? or do they adopt the Woman name if the other ones no longer using it, or just come up with a new name altogether?
Also hasn't Superwoman been a name used by various characters through DC's history and being used right now?

Rather alien Lynda than Donald Turnip so they got that goin' for them.

Donald Trump once got after comedian Jon Stewart for changing his name. So since he believes in being proud of one's heritage we should refer to him by his original family name: Drumpf.

No. The dumb thing about the ‘Superwoman’ name is they gave it to Lois Lane who doesn’t use it on a full time basis and they now use that as the main reason why they don't rename Kara Superwoman when people ask them about it. The first appearance of Superwoman was in a dream Lois had where she gained superpowers from a blood transfusion from Superman and used those powers to become a hero like him and there have been various stories of Lois gaining powers and becoming Superman but none of them lasted and were forgotten. Then they gave it to Lucy Lane in a story very similar to the one that was used in ‘Smallville’ with Lana getting powers with a suit and Supergirl accidentally killed her and the suit brought her back to life taking the life of another person for hers and there was an alternate evil version of Wonder Woman who used the name Superwoman too. DC recently used it again with Lois for DC Rebirth but the ‘Superwoman Rebirth’ series wasn’t very popular and was cancelled.
When they were ending the ‘Supergirl/ Linda Danvers’ series and making Kara the full time ‘Supergirl again Linda Danvers was 28 and had a child and Peter David wanted to make Linda Superwoman and start a new Superwoman series and DC also had plans to make a series with Supergirl, Superwoman and Power Girl working together as a team which was being described as similar to ‘Birds of Prey but Geoff Johns wanted the full focus to go back to being on Kara and they ended up having a falling out back then which lead to Peter David's departure and Linda Danvers being wiped from most of the future DC comic books. They have brought Linda back a few times but have used her very sparingly and some people in DC have said it is 'cause of Peter David. Now Peter David and DC are back on good terms again that might change and there has been talk about having Linda Danvers in Rebirth along with a number of other superheroes from the past DC want to bring back but back on topic, most of the female superheroes that have the name 'girl' in their names don't change to 'woman' when they are older with some exceptions like Donna Troy who become Darkstar and Troia and then strangely, Donna Troy with no superhero name at all and you make a good point about Saturn Girl and 'The Legion' but I think it is stupid the 'Arrowverse' used the Hawkgirl name instead of Hawkwoman and it could be they were just going with the name most fans were familiar with but the character has used both.

Rather alien Lynda than Donald Turnip so they got that goin' for them. Yeah. The President's absence during the Worldkillers storyline is one of the biggest plotholes they have had on 'Supergirl' but knowing what the writers have been like on these shows they probably won't even acknowledge that and will act like she was there the whole time and didn't go anywhere.

Isnt Lana Lang now Superwoman? I watched a thing not to long ago that was only made that week and they were saying how Lana is now Superwoman in the comics.
The silly thing is though any name change will work eventually but you do need time to adjust to it, but I mean how long was Shazam sold under the Shazam title yet they change the heroes name from Captain Marvel to Shazam and people still have issues with it.
I think with Hawkgirl that sounds more natural to me than Hawkwoman, also I think she's meant to be younger in the Arrowverse, though it's the CW they don't think people age from 15-35 at all, but given if you take how many times Savage had killed the Hawks, and divide by their "age" each life only lasted less than 20 years or so on average, and if their mystically linked to be drawn to one another it seems odd how in this one life they far outlive their usual lifespan before ever meeting.
A lot of the naming things in the Arrowverse are just stupid also, because why is Kid flash called Kid Flash? he's literally just 6 years younger than Barry and an adult, why do the call Thea Speedy as her superhero identity when that's Oliver's well known nickname for her, I mean the call Roy Arsenal because some guy makes a stupid remark, why is Mon-El's real name Mon-El and why did no one find it odd how he shared the similar name to Superman & Kara despite being from Daxam, or how no Daxamite seemed to have a last name, I mean The Ray's name is his real first name with The in front of it.

I think Lana is. I am not up to date with the latest ‘Supergirl’ comic books at the moment and haven’t been buying as many graphic novels as I usually do since Amazon blocked us from buying items from their American store ‘cause graphic novels are more expensive to buy here and we have to pay up to twice and double the price for some of them and we still get them but we are spreading it more now and am getting a few at a time instead of a lot in one order. I personally feel the Superwoman name should have gone to Linda Danvers and it was a mistake for on DC’s behalf to give it to Lois Lane and Lana Lang instead of someone who would use it long term like Kate Kane is as Batwoman and I think in a year or two the name will be with another character or it won’t be in use at all.
Most fans I know who read DC comic books would have preferred a new Linda Danvers or Power Girl series in Rebirth than the ‘Superwoman’ series and I am surprised DC hasn’t brought Power Girl back for a new full time or limited series ‘cause there are a lot of fans that want to see her return on a full time basis in her own series. I don’t know that much about ‘Shazam’ ‘cause I haven’t read the comic books and I only know of the Captain Marvel (DC/ Fawcett Comics) character and Mary Marvel from their appearances in other series like ‘Supergirl’ but I did hear some fans had issues over the change of name and think the movie should be called ‘Captain Marvel’ and with a ‘Captain Marvel’ movie on the way from Marvel I don’t know how anybody could not see that as being very unlikely to happen.
With Hawkgirl I am not sure how old Kendra was supposed to be in the ‘Arrowverse’ like I am pretty sure the actress was in her twenties when she was playing her and I assumed that she was the same age as Barry and Iris when they introduced the Hawks in the crossover episode but then again I don’t know how old Caitlin and Cisco are supposed to be either and I know Grant Gustin is the youngest of the cast but in the show it feels like Cisco is meant to be 5 years younger than Barry. It’s confusing as I don’t think the characters’ exact ages have ever been brought up in ‘The Flash’ and with the Hawks I always thought Hawkman was supposed to be older than Hawkgirl by something like a decade and Carter was noticeably a lot older when they had him in ‘Smallville’ and that was set years after Hawkgirl had died.
I was never a fan of the Kid Flash name either and was surprised they never had Wally say it sounded immature and wanted another name like ‘Impulse’ and if Wally is kept around for guest appearances it is going to look even sillier as he gets older but I think the writers are using that name ‘cause of the history of it in comic books and don’t want to change it. I mean they could rename him Adult Flash in future episodes but that might sound like a swipe at Barry. The origins of the Speedy name in the show are silly too and I don’t know if you are aware but in the comic books it was Roy who used that name first and then Mia become the new Speedy after Roy become Arsenal. The Mon-El thing is definitely weird and makes them sound like they are related and I thought Mon El was related to Superman, Supergirl and Superboy in one of the continuities and that is why he had the name El but apparently it was 'cause he was believed to be Superboy's long lost brother and they found out he wasn't but he kept the El name.

I know in the comics Mon-El was given the name by Superman in his original iteration I believe because his similar powers led to Superman believing Mon-El was kryptonian and Mon-El had no memory so Superman welcomed him as a part of the family hence the El and Mon came from him landing on a Monday. TBH Speedy also sounds daft in the comics, and I liked how in YJ they poked fun at the fact Green Arrows sidekick is called Speedy and no The Flash's sidekick, but it being a title like Robin is for Batman works, hell they could have done that in the show by having Roy adopt the name for Thea then when she takes over she assumes the name that is just so happened to be named after her. As for the Flash age's I think Barry was established as being 24/25 in the S1, but also seems kind of odd because he and Iris are the same age yet she was still in college the year earlier which would make her 23 shouldn't she have graduated college at that point? and shouldn't Caitlyn be like in her late twenties maybe even 30's if she's a doctor? that shit takes fookin years of schooling, plus years of practical experience to be a full fledged one right? But like I said the Hawk thing is just so odd because the 20 year thing is the average, but some of them live a lot longer, like the one where they had a kid old enough to remember them when they died, or the one who grew into a miserable old bat, who also made no sense because she claimed any relationship not with Hawkman ends badly...because falling in love to watch each other get MURDERED every few decades is fucking peachy, but to offset those longer lives means Savage had to murder a few of them as kids, that's sick and glossed over meaning what the fuck is the point of it? Then again it's the CW their logic is fucking illogical, Barry you just went back in time and saved your mother, then went back to let her die, but those slight differences have created a wave of unrelated changes to time, but wait what's that Sara is boinking her way through history with every woman she can find...nah that's fine, oh zombies during the civil war? forget about it, killing an ancient psychopath and there by eradicating his influence for the last several 1000 years is no biggie either, oh and lets not forget that the maion timeline is a alternative timeline so Barry going back to fix it isn't him messing with the natural order like the spas's on the Waverider said...

Oh. I agree. Speedy would have been a better name for a sidekick of The Flash than the Green Arrow and I am surprised they didn’t use the name, Bull's Eye for the character (which they ended up giving to a villain instead) but from what I read the reason they gave him the name, Speedy was ‘cause Roy could shoot more arrows quicker than the Green Arrow and his speed and accuracy were recognised by Oliver while training him along with his excellent archery skills. Speedy was created mostly ‘cause Batman had a sidekick with Robin and they wanted the Green Arrow to have one too but I think they were against giving the Flash a sidekick at the time so they never thought of it being a good name for a sidekick to the Flash but DC do acknowledge the name Speedy is often confused with Kid Flash.
It sounds like the ages of the characters in ‘The Flash’ are all over the place now and the writers may have had original ages set for them back in Season One as you mentioned but since then they tossed them away and are probably hoping the fans don’t see them as important or have forgotten about it ‘cause they don’t line up anymore but there are a lot of things that don’t make sense when it comes to the members of Team Flash and we have touched on some of them before. We don’t know where Cisco and Caitlin are getting their money from and with the recent reveal Iris’s job as a journalist will be one of the focuses of the upcoming season we may or may not get an explanation for why Iris has not been seen at her job for such a long time.
Perhaps I am wrong but maybe that was wiped in Flashpoint. I mean I can’t remember now but have there been any scenes since Flashpoint that have shown Iris as a journalist or even mentioned it was her job ‘cause if not as dumb as it might sound they might say she never become one in this timeline and she is only starting her job as one now. Stranger and dumber things have happened on the show so anything is possible and it has been so long since I recall seeing Iris as a journalist I don’t recall if it was before or after the events of Flashpoint it. Yeah. Caitlin should be the oldest person in the group to be a Doctor ‘cause it isn’t a job that just gets handed to anybody and it takes years for a person to become a fully-fledged and qualified one but you said it best with the CW Network and their logic and anybody could probably become a Doctor in the show.
I still don’t think we are fully aware of all the changes Flashpoint caused in the ‘Arrowverse’ and they might end up using it again to change some other things. A lot of people thought they were going to use it to bring Laurel back but they decided to make Black Siren good instead.

Did Flashpoint really change anything because it doesn't seem like it did. What a wasted opportunity.

It definitely changed things but apart from Caitlin becoming Killer Frost it didn't affect anything else major that people cared about but knowing what the writers are like with these shows that could change.

No it changed nothing, even KF is a whiff now because turns out Caitlyn has always had powers she just never knew it, Flashpoint was such a waste of time even the why Barry fixed things was dumb, oh Wally's speedster healing just isn't working now for some reason even though other speedsters have nearly murdered Barry and his superhealing worked then but not for poor Wally wah wah wah, I mean this was so stupid Flashpoint as an actual event was such a waste and seems more fitting to have it have been a dream or hallucination Barry had to endure which is why Wally's powers failed, why everything changed so pathetically and had no real consequence or meaning, and why Barry ultimately had to choose to let his mother die.
I mean think about that, that's quite a good evil way to torment Barry make him have to choose between his blood family or his adopted family, no matter what he chooses he wakes up knowing he would choose to let someone he loved die, as an actual major event it's retarded because Barry ultimately forsakes a potentially otherwise better world just for his own benefit, so he could still be The Flash and so Iris & Joe weren't sad, that's a pretty pathetic excuse to fuck with the fate of everyone on the planet, I mean in the Flashpoint timeline did Felicity nuke a town? were there 10,00 more people alive in Flashpoint than in the regular timeline, did more people die? all these other factors that should play into the why and what Barry does and it doesn't Barry really comes across like a selfish prick when you think about it.
The supposedly big repercussions of Flashpoint was Savitar and the Dominators, Savitar was a hot mess and the Dominators only matter for 1 week, so I dunno was there a point to it?

Have you watched the latest episode of The Flash Dazz? It was revealed Ralph being alive was due to Flashpoint and in the original timeline Ralph died after the Particle Accelerator exploded so that was at least one major thing it changed for the show even though they only brought it up now and there was also Diggle and Lyla’s child which went from being their daughter to their son. Although the only purpose that really served was to line up with the episode of ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ where the team went to Star City in the future and Diggle’s son was Conner Hawke. It might have also changed Caitlin’s Father being dead as we found out this week his death certificate was false and he appears to be alive but I think you could be right about Caitlin always having powers since she had powers on Earth 2 and I think everybody with powers on Earth 2 has them on Earth 1.
I agree with you that ‘Flashpoint’ could and should have been handled better and they really missed a chance not using it to bring back a bigger character but wasn’t the return of Reverse Flash as Wells a result of Flashpoint too ‘cause the Reverse Flash we saw in the big crossover event last year played by Tom looked like he was the same Reverse Flash they killed off at the end of the first season and it is hard to tell ‘cause we haven’t seen the character since but if he is the same Reverse Flash that was in the first season and has all the memories of working with Barry, Caitlin and Cisco it would have to be a result of Flashpoint unless the versions of Reverse Flash were meeting up and telling each other about all the things they were doing which I suppose could be possible.
You bring up a good point about what Barry had to give up and the Flashpoint timeline did appear to look like a better world but I honestly don’t know if it was ‘cause we didn’t get to see that much of it outside of Central City and the Green Arrow and all the other superheroes in different cities could be dead in that timeline and powerful villains could rule over them. I don’t remember the Green Arrow being mentioned in the ‘Flashpoint’ episode so it is kinda up in the air and Felicity might have died in that timeline too or moved somewhere else where she never met Oliver and lived a normal life and I can think of a few members on here that would have liked that. I knew Savitar was a repercussion of Flashpoint but I didn’t know the Dominators were and how exactly did that work ‘cause I thought they would have existed either way and eventually tried to come to earth.

I meant the Dominator storyline/crossover was a result of Flashpoint, they come back to earth because of Flashpoint they detected the massive time disruption from earth which is why they come back and want to wipe out the meta's because they pose a danger if they can cause such extensive damage to time itself.
They came to earth in the 50's or 60's and made a deal with the government iirc and left which is in part why the government types thought they could handle the situation they didn't know about Barry and his meddling with the timeline or that that's why the Dominators came back to sort out.
I take the Dibny thing with a grain of salt it's like the whole Oliver & Laurel being friends with Ray and his fiancé thing that was dropped in S1 as a throwaway but ignored once they decided to us The Atom when DC told them they couldn't use Blue Beetle in S3, it's the same as Dr Strange being a POI in Winter Soldier before he becomes a Sorcerer let alone the Sorcerer Supreme, or Wakanda & Atlantis being easter egg locations on Fury's map of powered people or something in IM2 I think it was.
But post Flashpoint they kept making allusions to the things Barry has caused, like the war that he brought on in which he warns Rip about and that he shouldn't trust anyone once he comes back even Barry, supposedly that's Dominator related but nothing Barry says warns them or seems to alter anything they do so why warm Rip of something 40 years after the fact about a invasion you sorted out in a day, why even warn Rip when you know he's not with them anymore? also why has Barry forgotten he left that message when Nora shows him the future papers future edition, we know Barry has to make it back by 2056 why not tell Nora that atleast, give her hope for her future knowing her dad does eventually come home?
Fucking writers man they just don't recall fuck all do they.

Yeah. I remember that happening now and you are right and it will be interesting to see if the events of Flashpoint play a part in this year’s big crossover event with Batwoman and if Batwoman exists on the same earth as ‘Arrow’, ‘The Flash’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ and not another earth it could end up being a direct result of Flashpoint for all we know ‘cause if she existed in the Arrowverse before it would have been mentioned and I think Green Arrow was supposed to be the first superhero to exist in the Arrowverse in the original timeline. They could have used Flashpoint to change things like that and made it that there were multiple other people that took on the roles of being superheroes such as Bruce Wayne who we know exists in their earth but doesn’t appear to be Batman.
Caitlin being born with powers and other characters they have shown to have powers they didn’t get from being near the particle accelerator at the time of the explosion opens the doors for other super heroes existing that we just haven’t seen yet and it will be interesting to see where they go with this storyline at the moment with Caitlin looking for her Father and if Caitlin always had powers like sites are saying or her Dad experimented on her and gave them to her. I can’t remember how many other characters they have had in the Arrowverse who got their powers elsewhere and I remember you or Stargazer mentioned some on another thread but Hawkman and Hawkgirl are two names that come to mind and it would be interesting to see that explored more. Would you say that Slade becoming normal again was one of the results or Flashpoint or was the Mirakuru always meant to wear off and he was going to go back to being himself ‘cause we hadn’t seen him for quite a while when he returned?
It is kinda strange how it wore off and why it took so long to wear off ‘cause back in Season Two they had Roy injected with the Mirakuru and from what I remember it wore off after a couple of episodes and it wore off on the other people injected with it too. You make a good point about Ralph and the whole Blue Beetle thing with Warner Bros doesn’t make any sense to me ‘cause we are up to Season 7 of ‘Arrow’ now and we still haven’t seen the character in anything else so they should have just let the writers use him back then along with Booster Gold who does not appear to be getting a movie in the near future but perhaps Booster Gold might get his own TV show on the DC Universe depending on the success of the other shows they have lined up. It is too early if the DC Universe is a success or a failure and they are only airing ‘Titans’ and ‘Stargirl’, ‘Swamp Thing’ and ‘Doom Patrol’ are yet to come but if they are successful they might end up holding off other characters for their own shows.
I think that might be what is happening with Zatanna and Doctor Fate ‘cause those 2 two characters I find very odd they haven’t used in the ‘Arrowverse’ yet for an episode or two when they had them in ‘Smallville’ but I recently read Zatanna is rumoured to appear in ‘Swamp Thing.’ I remember hearing Doctor Strange was mentioned in ‘Winter Soldier’ and I haven’t seen that movie for a long time but I read an interview with Kevin Feige where he said he was mentioned as a person of interest ‘cause he was a famous surgeon and not ‘cause he was Doctor Strange back then. Although he was most likely just saying that to cover it up. I don’t remember Wakanda & Atlantis being Easter egg locations in ‘Iron Man’ but I didn’t pay that much attention to the map (sorry).

It was IM2 during one of the Nick & Tony meetings, you have to look for it which is why I also didn't spot it but others did and pointed it out, that's why imo easter eggs are not canon.
I don't think Flashpoint did anything more than what they said it did because A: the writers don't think about this shit once they move past it, B: Flashpoint is such a pos exectured storyline in the Arrowverse best to fucking pretend it didn't happen at all imo.
Slade finally coming to his senses makes sense if you think about it, Slade's mind was poisoned by it for years, it wasn't just he was made aggressive or shit he hallucinated things that warped his mind, that stuff takes time to unravel and process with a clear head, Roy on the other hand just had heightened aggression and a black out rage rampage once the influence of the Mirakuru wore off he was back to normal, which is why curing him and the others was different than curing Slade imo.
Only Meta's I can think of without Dark Matter being used on them or being inherited by someone with such are Nate, Hawkgirl & Hawkman, Killer Frost, Deathbolt, Sampson, Dr Midnite & Obsidian, others either got exposed to DM that we know of or presumably must have like the variant earth whatever versions of characters or fill ins.
Also I hope Batwoman is from a different Earth because they need to stop fucking with the timeline/history of the main Arrowverse, Oliver was meant to be the first Superhero in their world then we find out nope there was a government funded and sanctioned group of them that acted rather openly and yet no one knew about them, just make her from Earth 4 or something, if they want her in the same universe as the main shows then have her come to Earth 1 or put her on Earth 38 or whatever with Kara and let them have a budding friendship, hell play with it Batwomans gay Alex is gay let them have a casual hooking up thing or have them be buddies who hang out, you know give Supergirl more connectivity which could be fun.
