During "Say Yes", (S7E12), we see Tara struggling to make a decision. At the very end, She tells Rick she needs to tell him something. So we know Oceanside is going to be discussed. The problem is Oceanside's attitude, and Tara didn't leave on good terms, and swore to keep it a secret. This creates the problem of having to devote an entire other episode to try to go back and bring in someone to negotiate with them. With only 3 episodes left in the season, will they devote an entire episode for this? They do need to get more guns for the Junkyard group. (I will be so pissed if they give them all those guns and they back out on their deal)! I predict they may contact them this season, but get turned down just like Gregory and Ezekiel turned them down earlier. Then at some point next season, during the war when it looks like Rick and Co. have their backs to the wall, Oceanside will magically appear to fight with them. Seems to fit with the way the show runs. Thoughts? I dread the thought of another Oceanside episode, especially with only 3 left this season.

Thats why I don't think any fighting will happen this season with only 3 episodes left
I'm wondering if the 3 episodes will be to make final preparations for the fight and have the whole of the first half of next season be an massive 8 episode sprawling battle with Negan
Episode 14 - Negotiating with Oceanside to get them onside Episode 15 - Ezekiel, Carol and the Kingdom preparing, Rick getting Oceansides guns to the Scavengers Episode 16 - Alexandria, the Kingdom, Hilltop, the Scavengers and Oceanside planning the battle and moving out

Episode 14,(3/19), supposed to be a clash between Saviors and Hilltop. Maybe they are still searching for Daryl. Maybe someone dies. Like last week, this will be the final straw to get Hilltop, (minus Gregory, of course), to be ready to fight?

She promised to keep their group a secret except after they let her leave they sent a couple women out to kill her, so I say she shouldn't feel any guilt about telling Rick.

My only problem is that they set up so many obstacles, that it will take at least one or two episodes to get this shit straight. Wasting our time. Just like the junkyard gang. I feel it was just set up to burn more time before the plot moves on! Kind of frustrating that a regular movie can tell a story in 90 to 120 minutes, yet this show takes 16 to 20 hours to follow a simple plotline.

I thought that Tara was going to tell Rick about Rosita's plan to kill Negan.

There's no way in hell we're getting anything resembling a satisfying conclusion to this season.
Now there are only 2 episodes left. You know they're gonna devote the next episode to Oceanside and create more filler, showing Rick and others traveling there to talk to the Oceansiders, having boring as shit conversations along the way, then finally arriving and negotiating not to shoot at each other, before the last 20 minutes of the episode deals with Rick trying to convince the Oceansiders to join his cause and provide guns.
Then the season finale will probably devote 15 minutes just to the combined forces of Alexandria, The Kingdom, Hilltop and Oceanside going over maps, talking about their plans to take the Saviors compound, marshaling their forces, and of course traveling to Savior HQ. Because on The Walking Dead, you always have to show people walking to their destination.
The season finale will end just as the battle is about to start, that little cocksucker Chris Hardwick will pop up to tell us that it was OMG the most amazing fucking episode EVAR, and probably Greg Nicotero, Kirkman or Gimple (or maybe all three) will be on the Talking Dead couch, trying to convince the audience that it's a good thing that this battle was stretched out, and that an entire season was wasted on preparing to fight.
