Kathleen Kennedy hates Star Wars. It was patriarchal. She's remaking it into her feminist vision. But...but...but don't you know The Force is female? Not just female. White female. Just look at the Star Wars female leads under Kennedy:

I don't want Mara Jade wasted on this shitty Disney canon. "Caro" sounds like a stupid bitch. Preach! Mara Jade deserves proper treatment than what Disney or Kathleen Kennedy would give her.

Which is ironic, considering that Mara is a deeper, more complex, and more interesting character than Rey, Holdo, or the fat little Asian girl with Down Syndrome put together. And Mara is, INCIDENTALLY and by neither misguided/hamfisted SJW corporate marketing motives nor Kennedy's bizarre own brand of identity politics-oriented leftism, a woman.

Not just female. White female. Just look at the Star Wars female leads under Kennedy: Whoops, my bad. KK isn't a feminist. She's a narcissist. Yup. Kathleen Kennedy is a narcissist who plays it safe. Every Disney Star Wars female lead is a posh white brunette. Every Disney Star Wars film continues to star white protagonists. All the Disney Star Wars films continue to only use white male writers and directors, including the replacements.

To be fair, there are only two leads in total in the Disney Star Wars films. Not much of a sample yet. Solo doesn't count because it's an existing character. On the other hand, they have clearly made a concerted effort to fill the ranks of co-stars with non whites.

New characters or not, every protagonist under Disney is a white person. While it's nice that we're seeing more diversity, white people are still front and center every time, from protagonist to female lead to writers and directors. That was my larger point on Kennedy playing it safe.

She needs to be fired or taken off of the Star Wars franchise.

lol too funny--but seriously Tessa Thompson, Valkyrie from Ragnorock would be an excellent choice--She's really pretty(too pretty for Finn to get near her)a good actress and a good screen presence If it's a black actress we've heard of, it'll probably be someone like Tessa Thompson, Zendaya or Zoe Kravitz. Speaking of Zendaya in Star Wars,I m writing a SW story set before the prequels and i picture her as A female Jedi character I have in my story.

My wish is for people of color to regularly get the same respect and representation white people do, in front of and behind the camera. Minorities are on their way to making up half of America.

Ha, what if you get a whole trilogy that features nothing but black characters. Will you be appease with the SW team? What if it's a trilogy about Sith origins? Still count? Ha ha, that'll probably be what happens. Just your luck.

I'm thinking long-term, like how white people have been well represented by Star Wars for decades. I'm not asking for all or even most of the characters to be minorities. And I'm referring to minorities in general, not just black people.

I agree that Star Wars should have a lot more aliens, particularly in the main cast. On average, we only get about 1 or 2 aliens per film, all in supporting roles. It's pathetic, especially Rogue One, which was filled with humans. I'd like to see a standalone Star Wars film starring an alien character like Ahsoka Tano. I also would like to regularly see aliens and droids play a greater role in the story. That said, Star Wars are also films made by Hollywood, and I am of the firm belief that Hollywood should better reflect its population. As it is, they are way too white and male for the 21st Century. Women and minorities already make up the majority in America.

Hmm. My guess is that instead of more Finn-and-Poe screen time, like fans wanted, Finn will spend a lot of time with Rose and Poe will spend a lot of time with Caro. Rey will probably spend some time with all of them before going off on her own to confront Kylo Ren. Could be this'n. But Boyega has already said that Finn will be back by Rey's side. Weesa gonna see if Rose becomes a 3rd wheel while Finn (again) pines over Rey in a hopelessly platonic position. But since Holdo died, meesa suspects that Caro is gonna be da new "fearless female mastermind" type. Her will probably cut into Poe's screen time as a hotshot pilot/action hero. Her probably will also be runnin' round tellin men how reckless and incompetent thems are, just like Holdo.
