Will the momentum of IW help the boxoffice of Ant-Man and Wasp like the Avengers helped IM3? Or will Ant-Man/Wasp be eclipsed by such a titan as IW, with audiences getting underwhelmed by a smaller movie after the juggernaut IW.

Help it, unquestionably. The bump it gets from IW on opening weekend alone will probably make it more profitable than the first one.

Help first couple of weeks. Though it being set prior to IW makes it kinda retro.

It's a comedy, so at least kids won't walk out crying like little bitches.

It wont be as huge a hit, of course, but it will still do gangbusters.

A definite help. Audiences want to see what happens next.

A definite help. Audiences want to see what happens next. Nah, they'll all be broke from seeing Infinity War seventeen times apiece.

People trust it when they see this in front of a movie now. ![](https://thumbs.gfycat.com/SparseHealthyIguana-size_restricted.gif)

Why watching a boring solo-film, if everyone can watch an high octane actioner like IW.

They could release Howard the Duck (the 1986 movie, not the Seth Green version); slap Marvel's name on the front; and it'd still be a hit at this point.

Its gonna hurt itself with the humor Were you born with the anti-fun gene? Do you want every superhero movie to be dead serious, depressing, and dark and not striving to be a good time at the movies? Have you *ever* gone to the movies and just wanted to have fun in your entire movie going life? Curious.

Maybe if he experiences humor as pain, then it will allow us to understand him better- his fascination with the comedy-soaked KatDen might then stem from viewing her as a tragic figure dripping wet with suffering, someone to be saved and protected. Or bewbz. He might just see the dds. And thusly be trapped in that 90s comics era super cereal boobage. Right, carry on! Give Kat the Witchy Wonder Woman Panties, etc.
