Neither Judge Dredd or The Crow are super heroes... Oh really? Then Batman isn’t a superhero. Judge Dredd is an lawman in a futuristic city who is no different from any other person wearing a badge and uniform, he is very dedicated to his line of work and does not allow personal emotions get in the way. Anyone is capable of committing a crime and it doesn't matter how good of a person they are or what their reasons were if they broke the law Dredd will take them in and not give any special treatment. He has a very cold personality and has little free will of his own because of just how much dedication he has for his job. Dredd is also not made out to be the hero in every story he's in, some times he's the antagonist. Not a superhero. I love the character, hence my username and avatar, but he's not a superhero. The Crow is a dead guy who comes back from the dead to seek revenge on those who wronged him, but after he gets his payback his business is done and he can finally cross over. He has no mission beyond that point. Not a superhero either. Batman is a different story, being a crime fighter is not a mission given by a supernatural force nor is it a job its something he actually wants to be. He is willing to break the law to save people and solve crimes and make exception with people who may have questionable pasts if they're willing to turn over a new leaf. His goal is an impossible one, but he aspires to go out on the streets every night and do what he can and succeed where the law has failed - couple that in with all the fancy gadgets, the technical know-how, the unlimited financial resources, the peak human physical condition, and the fact that he's in a team like the Justice League he definitely is a superhero.
