Instead of Spiderman and the rest of the GotG helping IM and Strange when they fought Thanos on Titan, they instead get Thor and Vision to help them. Thor doesn't have stormbringer but is at his fully-powered godmode self. Vision is also fully healed and at full power. Thanos has the first 4 stones. Can the Avengers team stop Thanos?

Maybe, yet that would certainly also deliver more competing decision makers yes? Spider-Man is along the ride. Guardians at this point also a bit, out to avenge Gamora.

I don't think so no. Thanos already presumably handed Thor is ass and Vision is no stronger. He has the phasing powers but they haven't really shown what that can do against living beings.
If Mantis was there I think they could pull off a similar stunt as they did in the movie but
1. Star Lord wouldn't have been there to screw them up.
2. Thor would have had the strength to pull the glove off.

We know Thanos' ship had already opened fire on the Asgardian ship even prior to boarding, and Thor could have been injured then. Or Thanos could have been backed up by his entire BO when they beat Thor up. Considering that both Hulk and Loki are off screen when we first see Thor we can assume they weren't present during the initial fight. We do know that Thor would not have been able to unleash his full power, not when he's in such an enclosed ship with his fellow Asgardians around. Unleashing his lightning powers would wreck the ship.

Dr Strange might have told Thor to go for the head, but Mantis was pretty essential if they wantwd the glove off first Lacking Quill, though, means no interruption to the attack to get the glove off.

With Stormbreaker it looks like Thor and Doctor Strange could've beat Thanos. Hell, maybe Thor alone.

I'd remove IM and put Wanda instead. Scarlet Witch was able to hold her own for a while against Thanos - who had five stones - while trying to eradicate the mind stone on Vision. She has the power to destroy an infinity stone, and with Thor, Vision and Strange, they probably can stop Thanos. If it's IM, Vision, Thor and Strange, it'd be difficult esp without Mantis.
