I would say their even on my dislike meter. Rey: She's played by a bland actress and written terribly, which is bad because she's the main character of this new trilogy. I honestly would take back Hayden Christensen over Daisy Ridley. Rose: She tased and force Finn on a side adventure wher e she forced him to save animals, for whatever reason, which eventually led to her making a selfish act where she stop Finn from doing something that would have helped save other people lives, but she's so thirsty for that dick that she crashes them both and forces a kiss on him.I think Rose shows some promise. You left out that Rose saves the horses but leaves the poor slave kids behind and by destroying half the city (guess who will be punished for that...). Rose indifference towards the slave kids is in line with her selfishly preventing her lover-boy from self sacrifice thereby letting the Resistance be destroyed (and kissing him while that happens). There is a pattern, I think may is meant to be a psychopath or a sociopathic mole, and in 9 it would be great if she went full jealousy rage betraying everybody....or it's just some incredibly bad writing like with Rey... Honestly it's been awhile since I've watched The Last Jedi, so a lot of the details I don't remember. I would actually would totally be down for Rose to turn and go evil. I'm not sure what kind of damage she could do against Rey or Finn but I'd support that heel turn!

It's more like preventing him from destroying the canon-gun than love (or its very badly acted). If she turns out traitor/mole there should be stakes with her killing some characters, and Finn should finally be allowed to make his final sacrifice (taking Rose with him).

Rey, because in the end Rose is just a noisy but harmless brain fart in the SW universe. Rey on the other hand ruins the Star Wars lore with her god-mode abilities, and with every character becoming her adoring cheerleader and/or an pathetic loser so to make her shine. Amazing, how they try to create strong female characters and end up creating badly written caricatures like Rey, Rose and Holdo. Deplorable in view of all the well written characters like Furiosa, Ripley, WW and not to forget the former SW heroines. This'n well said! Tarpals can add little to this. Both be badly written and annoyingly so. But Rose can be dropped like a bad habit from da saga. This'n entire trilogy is written around Rey. Rey is more hate-worthy cuz her is not only written poorly in some respects, but da nature of her character in da saga makes other characters around her get badly written. Even unnatural at times! Han Solo is written as a flaky ships mechanic; Finn is written as an unnaturally buffoonish rogue Stormtrooper(*); Luke Skywalker is written as a cowardly, grumpy hermit; Kylo is written as a vapid, impotent Force user whenever Rey uses da Force; and da Force is written as Disney magic whenever Rey uses it... all to make Rey more impressive, more likable, and gives her more spotlight! This'n be why da Captain has to vote Rey. (*) Remember when Finn always depended on Rey to be a pilot in TFA? Hims even says or implies (numerous times) he is "not a pilot". All of a sudden in TLJ when Finn is separated from Rey, hims can pilot ships!! When did Finn get time to train for this'n? TLJ started immediately where TFA ended?!?

We see that with Finn, but with BB-8 or Han or Luke or even Kylo too.

Binks was pretty okey-day to save the slave-kid Anakin instead of freeing some of these farting pack animals on Tatooine. So, Binks is pretty well written....from a certain point of view.

Guess I was too wrapped up in all the other what-the-fuckery going on to even care. Good post.

Rose
"We're going to win this war, not by fighting what we hate, but saving what we love."
That quote sealed the deal. She is the worst character in SW history.

No. The deal was sealed after her stupid fucking line when she saves that one animal "now it’s worth it. that's the real victory" as her entire fleet is being slaughtered and hundreds of child slaves are left behind. It would’ve been a much better plot if they tried saving the actual human slaves, not a couple donkey horses.

As the title says, who do you dislike more between Rey and Rose? Why? Rose just sucks. I don’t blame the actress, but her character, story, dialogue etc were just horrible.
