Not exactly. One involves the threat of coming to realize everything you grew up believing in turned out to be just a bunch of nonsense, while the other involves the threat of a malevolent entity who proports to be good torturing you for all eternity for not believing in him despite the lack of evidence. Clearly the impacts are not comparable. But to your greater point (I believe) which addresses hypocrisy, they fall along the same lines. Your point?

Though honestly, I'm more amused by the bickering.

The philosoraptor should acquaint himself with rationalist epistemology before asking such a silly question.

Why is this thread entitled Christians vs Atheists instead of Theists vs Atheists?

Why is this thread entitled Christians vs Atheists instead of Theists vs Atheists? Because Bryce has become a bit of an antichrist. His apostasy and subsequent adoption of atheism has brought about a clear change in him. He’s gone from a mild-mannered, tolerant, impartial, fair minded, level headed and respectful Christian into an angsty, rude, confrontational, argumentative, disingenuous, disrespectful, insulting, arrogant, intolerant, bitter raging atheist.

Why is this thread entitled Christians vs Atheists instead of Theists vs Atheists? Presumably because the creator of it is making a direct contrast between atheists and CHRISTIANS. I’d have thought that was obvious (if you actually bothered to watch the video).

Were those the 'real McCoys" or the Trumpesque 'fake ones? Obviously, the McCoy is the Christian, since McCoy argued with that atheist Spock and his pointy eared green blooded intellect. Spock was therefore an emotionless Hatfield!

It would be funny if they didn't act like it was really going on. In fact, in America, in Western culture, the exact opposite is the reality. There isn't "anither side" to reality. The fact is that if an atheist cheats on a wife or girlfriend, it's accepted, but if a Christian does it, he's a hypocrite who belongs in Hell, along with every other Christian, except the Christian bashers hate the idea that a Hell exists, so they have to make a Hell on Earth. Same for all the other instances.
That's why I thought it was a joke at first, because those instances never happen in Reality, and even by putting myself in the atheist's shoes, I have to admit there is no way to make it seem even plausible as a reality.
I know the people who believe this video makes sense won't do this, but I have to say to them "Grow up", but they'll whine and lie as usual.

Probably because you (like most Christians) live in an alternate reality. It’s called cognitive dissonance! You can’t see or hear things that people of your ilk do in the name of religion when you know they can’t be justified. So you just pretend that it doesn’t happen at all. On the rare case where you actually have no choice but to acknowledge it, you dismiss them as “fake Christians” using the NTS fallacy. Likewise, you make up examples of fake “persecution” in order to play the victim, as though you actually are one. All of these fake “wars” that conservative nutjobs keep inventing like the war on Christianity, or the war on traditional marriage, or the war on Christmas. These aren’t real things; they are concocted ideas designed to portray Christians as “victims”.

I did not mind Freddy vs Jason, or Alien vs Predator.
Batman v Superman - fanboy loyalty compels me to not completely dislike it.
Aliens vs Predator: Requiem - now, that was bad. Utter shit. A guy in the audience started talking on his mobile, and nobody cared.
Godzilla vs Kong film better be awesome, or I will murder lots of people.
