I wonder what this is. I have to say I am not going to get my hopes up 'cause we have been disappointed by this show and the other shows in the 'Arrowverse' multiple times but maybe the new showrunner is going to make a complete change to the show next season and we are going to see a lot of new characters and some good villains that will be interesting to watch. I love the mention of Bat Family characters and if the new showrunner can handle them properly the Spoiler, Orphan, Bluebird, Red Hood and Azrael could be great additions to this show. I have been saying for ages I have wanted to see Lady Shiva and a lot of people think Batman when they think of the character but she actually debuted in the 'Richard Dragon' comic book series and was in a number of Green Arrow comic books which is why I think she could be a great villain. We will have to wait and see but the next article below has me thinking some characters are going to leave or die. We know Quinton is going. Dinah and Renee could be going too.

ARROW’s Stephen Amell to Announce Something Huge at The CW Upfronts
We already know that Arrow is getting a seventh season. But what will that look like after the “game-changing” finale on Thursday? We might be finding out soon.
The CW will have their Upfronts Thursday, where they preview their slate of shows for advertisers. While appearing at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in Nashville Amell teased that there is big news to come:
“I’m gonna be in New York on Thursday for The CW’s Upfronts.” Amell explained. “And I get to make a really fun announcement. And The CW is just so freaked out that I’m going to spoil it at some point during this panel.”
What could that possibly be? I have a few ideas.
Announcing that Arrow’s 7th Season is its Last. – I don’t think this would be it, because Amell wouldn’t exactly find being unemployed in a year “really fun”. But you never know. Hey, maybe Arrow ends, but Amell headlines a Justice League (Justice Society?) show or something afterward.
Details On This Year’s Crossover. – It could be dealing with their annual crossover, and announce something crazy like what comic event it will be based off of.
New Character. Anyone from a Green Lantern to a someone in the Bat Family could be in the works. That would be huge to announce something like that is coming to the show. A villain that crosses over in all of the shows would be huge too. (It is worth noting here that at this same Con, David Ramsey said he could see Diggle from another Earth having the Green Lantern ring. A Laurel Lance from another Earth has been on the show all season, so why not Diggle?)
A New Show. – Amell could announce a new spinoff – anything from The Ray to something brand new. A Suicide Squad spinoff was in the works before the movie, maybe that is making its way back.
Crossover With Black Lightning, Krypton, or a DC Universe Show. – Shows that aren’t established in the “Arrowverse” yet could be crossing over, including any of the new shows from DC’s new streaming service like Titans or Doom Patrol.
Nothing Related to The Arrowverse At All. – Maybe he is just announcing something that is related to The CW brand, and not necessarily the show itself. It is always nice to show that you are a “company man” and play ball when it comes to things like this.
Anything is possible. We will find out Thursday, probably before the Arrow finale airs a few hours later.
What do you think the announcement could be?

How Arrow Will End Things Differently For The Characters In The Season 6 Finale
Arrow is teasing an explosive ending to its wild Season 6, although Emily Bett Rickards has indicated fans may not expect what the series has planned. Rickards, who plays computer hacker extraordinaire Felicity Smoak, spoke to CinemaBlend's Deputy TV Editor Laura Hurley about the upcoming season finale, and noted that things will end a bit differently for the characters this season than they have in the past:
It's different than other seasons. It's still tragic in its own way as we do in our traumas, but there's definitely something different. I always used to say 'We always go out with a bang, literally.' But this year we sort of go out with, I think, there's a bang to the heart of everybody on the team this year, which is sad but something new and something different and hopefully people respond. I think it's unexpected. So we'll see how we can make it fly.
Emily Bett Rickards teased that Arrow may have a different sort of season finale than what fans have gotten in years past, as each season finale always seems to be rife with explosions and mass chaos. The promo for the episode has revealed there's plenty of explosives set to potentially blow in the city, so we can assume Rickards' comments aren't so much about a literal explosion. Instead, Rickards seems to be saying that characters are going to be feeling some consequences outside of whatever physical peril endangers in the episode and that whatever happens will certainly affect everyone in a lasting way.
A "bang to the heart" that affects everyone on the team could mean a major death or departure. Arrow has managed to do one of those in Season 6 already, and with it being confirmed that Paul Blackthorne will not return as Quentin Lance in Season 7, we can only speculate that another big goodbye is coming in the season finale. More than a couple of characters would be changed in some key ways if Lance should die in the Season 6 finale. That said, a character dying in the season finale isn't necessarily something new or even unexpected, so Emily Bett Rickards is likely alluding to an event bigger than Lance's exit.
The Season 6 finale episode, titled "Life Sentence," doesn't just share its name with one of the latest cancelled series at The CW; it also might play into the different ending Emily Bett Rickards is referring to. Oliver Queen admitted to the FBI in the penultimate episode that he is indeed the Green Arrow. That admission will likely lead to some consequences, with the most obvious being that Oliver will be sent to prison not long after Star City is free from Ricardo Diaz's grasp. That's obviously not the happy ending Arrow fans may be hoping for for after a less-than-upbeat Season 6, but would certainly allow the series to further evolve and adapt if the cast is forced to protect Star City in Season 7 with Oliver behind bars.
Arrow fans will see what big surprise the series has in store for them by tuning into The CW Thursday, May 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
