I do like mayonnaise, but I know a number of people who feel as you do. Most of them say that they dislike the texture/consistency. Is that your objection, too? Or, do you dislike the flavor?
If it's isn't spread on a sandwich, but is an ingredient such as a salad dressing, do you dislike it as much?

Imagine spreading pure liquidy fat or lard onto a slice of bread- that's how mayo makes me feel...

Only like it when in sandwiches/wraps. I don't like the taste of it unless it's mixed in with other stuff.

i used to really like mayo. especially with those six foot hero sandwiches. but lately mayo does not agree with me. i am fine with it in tuna and chicken salad/anything that NEEDS mayo but in reality, just a dab.
my mother is in absolute love with olive oil mayo. i find it disgusting. sorry. when it agrees with me... regular full fat hellmans. no miracle whip, no best value. even the squeezybottle the consistency is off.

Mayonnaise. No. Below is the way to go with things like potato salad, macaroni salad, chicken salad, a turkey sandwich and BLT's

A store bought mayonnaise is most oftenly disgusting, like Hellmanns as they contain sugar (who the f***k got it into their heads to put sugar in it?), but a homemade mayonnaise is delicious, so I make my own.
Have you tried homemade?

Have you tried homemade? Never seen tried it. Then why not make it? You just need rapeseed oil, egg yolks, white wine vinegar/freshly squeezed lemon, salt and then try what you like to add to it, like mustard (not a sweet one)/dijon mustard, garlic (love garlic in it), chili powder etc. And if you add tarragon and a little bit of water, you get a fake béarnaise sauce.
