To me it just seems bizarre that folks are so wrapped up in who is going to buy Fox.
Imagine if people had real problems to worry about.

So i’m confused. People want X-men and fantastic 4 going to Universal when Universal screwed up their own Dark Universe not once, but twice? LMAO. You guys are morons. Nah, it's called seeing the bigger picture.

Universal has done absolutely nothing to prove they can handle the X-men and F4 better than the MCU.

Now why the hell would anyone want the XCU to fall with Comcast instead of MCU? What has Comcast done that is better than the MCU? Well. For one thing they haven't flooded the market with mediocre, if harmless, movies about D-list jobbers that've totally distorted modern audiences' bar for what's even worthy of a movie, let alone what makes a compelling superhero one. Innit? Mostly they just rip people off with terrible cable service. I welcome their stewardship of the XCU with open arms!!!1 Comcast is like the worst cable company consistantly in customer service complaints, so you want them to do a rotten job on the X-Men? Besides, isn't it cash up front from Comcast vs stock from Disney? 5 yrs from now you dont think that stock will be worth significantly more?

Not necessarily. Fox could either use the cash they receive from Comcast now to invest in other stocks which could be more profitable than Disney stock or use the cash they receive from Comcast now to fund other projects which could be more profitable than Disney stock. It just depends on what Fox wants to do with the cash.

I know I am. I've been praying to Jack Kirby every night to save the cinematic fate of the ultimate Marvel A-listers, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, from the greedy and sinister clutches of the stunted slime running the House of Mouse, including the Nazi war criminal Kathleen Kennedy. Innit? Guys, I'm worried about the XCU... Oh absolutely. Down with Disney!!

Look around you. Every MCU ambassador on this board, every member of the fandom of destiny that swept aside your lame franchises in one night, was once like you. Fought as feebly as you. Every MCU fan that lives today is a convert.
Convert now... or fall forever.
Hee hee hee...

21st Century Fox and Walt Disney shareholders will vote on merging their respective companies July 10, giving rival suitor Comcast just shy of six weeks to come up with the higher offer it promised. In a joint proxy statement filed with the SEC Wednesday, 21CF and Disney announced dueling special stockholder meetings to be held blocks apart in Manhattan at 10 am on the same day — Fox’s at the New York Hilton Midtown and Disney’s at the New Amsterdam Theater. The boards of both companies have approved the merger. A joint proxy statement filed with the SEC Wednesday and signed by 21CF executive chairman Rupert Murdoch and Disney chairman-CEO Robert Iger urged shareholders to vote in favor of the all-stock deal announced last December.www.forbes.com/sites/jillgoldsmith/2018/05/30/fox-disney-shareholders-to-vote-on-meger-july-10/#5f9bf0b648f6

Just look at the posters in this thread. They are all known MCU haters. Why would anyone want this? Has the MCU made one bad movie? You know their F4 and X-Men films will be great and make billions. Why give it to Comcast? What have they ever done that is so great, movie wise?
