Lord Walder Frey...for similar reasons. The revelation that the maid is Arya and how she announces herself after having tried to forget who she was for an entire season. So satisfying. I had given up on the show at that point but this was one of the many confirmations I got for it in this most dreadful of episodes when I finally caught up with it. Fan gratification at its purest with no further justification than the number of idiots waiting for it. Was this the worst moment of the show? Maybe.

The lack of any sort of fan gratification is one of the main reasons I’ve become more disinterested in the books. I don’t need every single lead to pay off...but one out of ten would be nice, but GRRM has his own plans and they are decidedly no traditional.

Oh yes, all the little progressive are getting a hard on for the thing "not being traditional", no matter if it makes sense. This was gratuitous gratification and therefore devoid of value. As I said, idiots liked it.

In a few days I will start a thread to sort of justify Arya's actions. I know that it is a hotly contested debate. Especially her slaughter of men of House Frey. I started to dislike Arya in S3 but enjoyed the character up to S6E06. Then the character was slaughtered for fool pleasing purposes and there is no point discussing any of what happened next.

That's one sure way they give themselves out.

It's sort of entertaining. Liked your picks on the poll.

Yeah, I know that my question is not that refined and such thoughts are not considered very good in contemporary world but I have never been ashamed to admit that I enjoy the death of monsters.
The most satisfying death for me was Ser Meryn Trant. One reason for that is that he was a disgusting man who would beat up Sansa in public but also the fact that his death established Arya (my fav) as the ultimate bad ass makes his death most memorable. I will rank Viserys Targaryen as my second choice. He was such a narcissistic person. My third choice is Renly because I just never liked him.
I hated it when they killed Lord Stark. I also didn't like to see Lord Tywin die.
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to add Tyrells in the poll choices.
I am only on Season 3. But I would love to torture Joffrey. If anybody deserves it. That sadistic, murderous psychopath.

His character though is a bit different from books. In books he was a tall guy. In this one he has been made a sort of sadistic coward. His biggest demerit is that he is not just bad but also a fool and also a coward. Most of the time bad people are intelligent but not in case of Joff.

That was bit of a let down. I wanted to see him suffer pain and humiliation. Without having watched the next episode yet, his death makes his mother and grandfather look like fools. What did they expect would happen living in a time where everyone is a back stabber? With Joffrey running around, torturing, tormenting and killing not only acquaintances and "employees" --- but his own family members. What really did they expect was going to happen. What fools.

Ramsey, Joffrey, Walder, Tywin in that order and I wasn't sorry to Lysa "fall" through the Moon door.

I voted Ramsey Bolton, Joffrey Lanister and Littlefinger. In that order also.
Although none of the bad guys suffer as much as I think they deserve.
Ramsey suffered a little. Joffrey got off way too easy. And Littlefinger's death was a surprise.
(Stannis Baratheon was 4th runner up. That guy was a loser from the beginning of the show. And then he burned his little girl alive.)

I had to go with Ramsay on this question, mostly because he outlasted Joffrey so to speak and the big reason was that Jon beat the shit out of him before he was killed and that was oh so pleasant to watch. Then being mawed to death by his own hounds was just icing on the cake.
I enjoyed Joffrey's death but it was just too quick. I wish he had paid a little more before he turned purple.
