There are people who stop watching a movie just because of a bad beginning, which is unfair. If you want to watch LE FATE IGNORANTI (THE IGNORANT FAIRIES), please ignore the death scene of the protagonist's husband. Even with a better visual effect (this is an Italian movie from 2001, after all), the way it was filmed and the way the body moves around would've still caused us to laugh. Anyway, I ask you this because the rest of the movie works. It doesn't go too deep into the themes it presents, but Margherita Buy and Stefano Accorsi's performances are good. 7/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog (in English, in Spanish or in Italian).

I've heard good things about Turkish director Ferzan Ozpetek's work. This movie sounds interesting. Thanks for the review.
