So for one, apparently you're unfamiliar with CTE. Y'know... I almost put in a clause for the football bit.... but, I will point out that whether or not a child plays football and its risk of head injury does rely on the approval of parents that hopefully has the child's best interest in mind. And the chances of a life changing injury on a child playing football are far less likely than the chances of getting pregnant after sex. It would seem that your arguments are a direct result of CTE..... Did you play football as a child? Whether parents are involved or not, kids consent to playing football, right?

Whether parents are involved or not, kids consent to playing football, right? Yes.... And that orange isn't an apple no matter how much you want to see it as one.

No one is comparing anything at the moment. If kids consent to football, then for one, "kids are not capable of consent" is false, right?

And there are few claims more idiotic than the notion that children can understand how to play a musical instrument, how to do algebra or geometry, how to play football, how to read Melville, etc., but not sex.Again, don't try to make a rational argument for it. Just admit that it's a purely emotional objection and you'd earn more respect. Holy shit. This is one of the dumbest arguments ever. It's not just emotional.... There are life-changing consequences - both physical and emotional - to sex that those other actions you listed don't have. How can you expect a child who has no concept of the price of living as an adult to understand the consequences of a pre-teen pregnancy, for just one example? By the way, presumably you'd argue that there's something about being pregnant--emotionally and/or physically, that an eighteen year old does or could understand that an eleven or twelve year old doesn't or couldn't understand? Would what the 18 year old does or could understand be statable?

If you can't see the inherent physical and emotional difference between an eleven year old and an 18 year old... than they better double up the distance on that restraining order that I presume that you have with elementary schools.

If kids consent to football, then for one, "kids are not capable of consent" is false, right? 1) That is a comparison, moron….. a failed one. 2) How fucking stupid are you not to realize that kids have the capacity to consent to somethings... but not others.... or everything? And if you are too stupid to see the differences between playing football and sex. - "What? 8-old Suzie can consent to eating ice cream for desert.... That means she can consent to anal, right?"

Hopefully... after that education: a fcking job, for the second... 3rd... SHE WOULD BE DATING OTHER ADULTS

Or in other words, it didn't have anything to do with answering the questions I asked you. Whether you're intentionally avoiding answering or not is harder to say, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and figure that it's intentional avoidance. Good argument. You've really helped support that the objection isn't a purely emotional one, and that it's not a bunch of really ignorant ad hoc nonsense re trying to consistently, rationally justify it.

Your questions get answered... You're too stupid to get the answer. For the record "But children consent to play football" IS COMPARING FOOTBALL TO SEX, moron... It can only has to be explained to you 3 times before giving up... and still having to explain it to you a 4th... Because... You are that fucking stupid.

Really miss them all. Heard a lot of people left IMDB after boards were no longer in use.

For example, I asked if the different understanding would be statable in your view. That's a simple yes or no question. You never said, "Yes, it would be statable," "No, it would not be statable," or anything roughly equivalent to either. You instead talked about other differences. But I didn't ask you about that. I asked if the different understanding would be statable. That's a very specific issue. And no, I wasn't actually comparing football and sex. Apparently you didn't understand that comment. At any rate, it was completely unpredictable that you'd have that stereotypical sassy Internet genius personality where you announce that you're done with something and then you almost immediately respond again. not

IF YOU WEREN'T COMPARING FOORBALL TO SEX.... THEN IT WOULD BE POINTLESS TO TALK ABOUT CONSENTING TO FOOTBALL IN A CONVERSATION ABOUT CONSENTING TO SEX. WHY BRING UP FOOTBALL IN THE FIRST PLACE? YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY COMPARING THE TWO.. Explained for the 5th time. I did answer it. My answer was that the difference should be obvious to any sane person. You know who doesn't argue that 8-year olds can consent to sex? Sane people who aren't pedophiles.
Also... I was setting up my next response to merely be "I said 'good day, sir.".... but, your response proved to be more stupid than I could have imagined and I thought I needed to counter that stupidity with an actual response.
My bad.

Blade, Ada, Mutha, and a few others.
I also miss Poisoned Dragon. Yes, he and I were....well.....we were kind of different, but some of our discussions were interesting.
And I miss chx for the unintentional comedy she provided.
