I'm not sayin it was brilliant! I'm not saying it should win Oscars! And I realize that its basically flopping at theatres, at least when compared to other SW movies... But this was not an awful movie. It was a lot of fun, with lots of action, humor, new stuff, old stuff; etc. Whats the problem folks? I enjoyed it. After reading all the bad reviews about it, I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't great but to be honest I liked it more than The Last Jedi.

While I think Last Jedi was "deeper" and more significant, Solo was actually more "fun". Also, for all the behind the scenes nonsense it turned out to be pretty coherent.

I felt Last Jedi tried to be too deep but failed. I do have a few things I had a problem with in Solo. I would have liked to have seen a bit more character depth and development, and unless there is going to be a sequel, I don't think it was made clear why Kiara did what she did.

90% of the people who don't like it never actually saw it. #Fakenews I saw it and while I won't call it the worse film ever it was definitely a lousy cash grab by Disney.

There might have been a sequel, if it hadn't underperformed. Oh well...

I wasn't really excited about Solo: A Star Wars Story when it was first announced, and I wasn't crazy about the actor they hired. When I went to see it, I had very little confidence in it.
I was surprised, how much I enjoyed it. It's not perfect, by any means, but this is probably my favorite SW movie by Disney.
