No, but BvS might become one. It's just pretentious enough for its fans to go "auduences didn't get it at the time!!1", despite there being nothing to get beyond a couple of PHIL101 lines and an edgelord tone. If this post had a face, I'd kiss it.

Yep. The "still a bad movie" parts were all Snyder in my opinion. It takes a special kind of person to look at Whedon's track record, then at Snyder's, then come to the conclusion that Whedon is somehow to blame? Because You have to have someone to blame. Since he was the last one to have his hands on the movie, and so publicly, then it is his fault. I've been hearing rumblings for a Lord and Miller Cut of Solo from an angry and loud few, also.
Lord and Miller makes sense because they're talented. Snyder has always made stupid movies for stupid people.

OK, maybe I’m just a “special type of person,” but I much preferred BvS to nearly anything Whedon’s ever done. There’s something about Whedon and his filmmaking (and, I guess, television-making) that really, really turns me off. I’d love to see the supposed but probably non-existent “Synder cut.” It is a viewpoint I honestly cannot understand in any way, but obviously you are welcome to it. I find Whedon to be a master of character, dialogue and story. I find Snyder to be good at making things visually appealing with an occasional penchant for casting but with absolutely no ability to tell a long form story.

Of all the movies based on a DC published team of heroes it's the second best. Behind League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen and probably equal with Suicide Squad. Watchmen is better than all of those

Watchmen is better than all of those I think the League movie is terrible... And yes, Watchmen is better than all of these, but it's still far from perfect...particularly because the new ending completely renders Ozy's plan ineffective almost immediately.

I've always liked the change because blaming Manhatan is more organic than genetically engineered fake aliens. I LOVED the comic, but I found that ending to be (clever, but) so random. Also, in both versions we assume that Rorshach's journal undoes the plan anyway.

Even if he wasn't. Even if he is beyond nation or species or whatever...to the rest of the world...he is as American as Apple Pie. So why would Ozymandias overlook that after about a month of mourning, people would start with "America made him, they are to blame!!!!" It wouldn't create world peace...it would spell the end of the United States.

Guilty pleasure is my guess. Aren’t guilty pleasures usually ‘so bad it’s good’ type movies? That doesn’t seem to be the overall consensus on JL. In order to attain true cult status a film needs quotable lines, a small but rabid fanbase and a subculture surrounding some aspect of the film --- like, maybe people who dress up as parademons. Cult Status is a term that's been recently used to describe many films that it doesn't really apply to.

No it's a really bad movie, it might be remembered like Pearl Harbour, which is also awful but people don't mind it when it's on.

A critical and financial failure that really wasn't that bad. You could even argue that it was judged extra harshly based on the brand's previous missteps. Now, don't get me wrong. The DCEU sucks ass. Cavill is garbage. Affleck sucks. Snyder fucked us all. The DCEU's an irreparable mess, an epic embarrassment, and a total affront to fans everywhere. But Justice League wasn't that bad. You could even argue that it's good. So...cult classic? Justice League is by far the DCEU's biggest blunder. Yet you say it wasn't that bad. But then you back track and say that the DECU sucks. So which is it? The DCEU sucks - OR - Justice League, the DCEUs worst movie, isn't that bad? They cant both be the same. Your statement is bipolar. LOL
But seriously, I agree it wasn't that bad and I even go as far as to say the whole DCEU isn't as bad as all the badmouthing it gets. But Justice League was definitely a cobbled together mess (talk about bipolar statements!), but yes, I think its possible that Justice League could become a cult classic, where one day we look back and laugh together at Cavills mustache.
I actually own a blu ray of it! LOLZ

nah, it's too generic for being a cult film.
I think it will become quite popular on reruns on TV channels especially with kids as it's jokey and harmless and sports the most iconic superheroes ever.
The fabeled Snider-cut eliminating the corny (and badly lit) Wheedon scenes could become a cult favorite though - just like the longer version of BvS.
