I am tempted to play "see if you can find what's missing" but in case someone doesn't see it, let's just cut to the point:
what happened to Ty Hardin-Lt. Schumacher.
He is not mentioned in the cast list and it's not on his main page either.
I know he plays a double agent but really, this is taking the top secret stuff a little too far.

Excellent question.
I seem to remember in the 70's that he got involved with some cause which might be termed as "white nationalist" today, but seems to me that if IMDb wanted to vaporize him they would have wiped him out altogether and not just in that one movie.

I'd like to know if anyone has ads (newspapers, et al) or posters in which Ty Hardin's name is listed in the credits of Battle Of The Bulge. It seems to me unlikely that he'd get no listing at all. He was at the time the film was released (1965) rather better known (in the U.S. especially) players in the film due to his having been a (admittedly second rank, at best) television star for a spell. For what it's worth, I find his brief turn in the film wholly credible and absolutely chilling.

Not at all unusual to see missing actor credits in IMDb listings. Nor is it unusual to look up an actor and find roles missing from their filmography. I once looked up Valerie Harper's page on the site, and 'Rhoda' was not listed! It's since been fixed, but it's a good example of the kind of large goof you find on that site not at all infrequently.
