It is a little ironic that the 'never seen it' crowd picked this one to ignore since it's hardly the propaganda vehicle the 'boycotters' made it out to be.

It is a little ironic that the 'never seen it' crowd picked this one to ignore since it's hardly the propaganda vehicle the 'boycotters' made it out to be. It's not about whether "Solo" is a propaganda or not. It's not even about whether "Solo" is any good or not. It's about Lucasfilm refusing to acknowledge any criticism of "The Last Jedi", no matter how valid, and instead attacking their customers. If Lucasfilm won't pay attention to valid criticism, maybe they'll pay attention to a loss of $50 to $80 million at the box office.

Blatantly guilt tripping the holdouts. It reeks of desperation. It definitely sounds desperate. It sounds like Howard is trying to blame it on the audience for this film is just choosing to wait for it to come out on DVD. And that's ridiculous. Never before has that factor caused a movie to bomb at the box office.

Well said. Howard is not just paying for how LucasFilm made the episodic movies. He is paying even more for how LucasFilm has handled the fanbase's reaction.

Fans want to minimize damage to the brand, getting rid of Kathleen sooner will be for the best. They know Di$ney only cares about money and will get rid of her in hot minute if they start seeing a loss.

Fans are using the one voice they have....their dollars. If Disney wants to keep attacking fans, then this is what they get. Too bad really because I finally saw Solo and it's pretty good. I waited a couple of weeks when Disney gets less of a cut of the box office than opening weekend.
