in perfect picture quality and sound is still vhs right? Because as far as I know no dvd with perfect picture quality and sound exist except as a bonus feature with inferior picture quality and sound right? So even with the vhs' slight limitations in picture quality, that's still the preferred way to watch the movie, if you really don't like the special editions of it. Right?

I would suggest the 1993 Laserdisc release is better since its picture quality and framing is superior to that of a VHS.

No. Harmy released a very wonderfully unedited version (only cleaning up the picture/sound) of the OT called the "Despecialized Edition". It's online for free and should never be paid for.
