Can't wait to see how they mess her up! To be fair they are going to be handled by the new showrunner and new writers so maybe they might do a good version of Arrowette or they could come up with something as bad as their version of Starling. I am hoping they changes are like the ones between Season 7 and 8 of 'Supernatural' 'cause while the show never recaptured its glory days of the first six seasons 'Supernatural' Season 8 was a LOT better than Season 7 when they changed the showrunner and maybe 'Arrow' will be too. It is funny 'cause I remember being told by Olicity fans on the old 'Arrow' board they would never change the showrunner when I brought it up and they are changing the showrunner. I know you said you are done with the shows but I thought you might be interested in this since it says it will 'defy fan expectations' and I thought about you with that. I've been burned one too many times by this show promising it will be nice to me, only to push me down the stairs. Well no more! I am free!

Well, I can't say I blame you as others have said on here before. The 'Arrowverse' shows have a way of letting people down especially DC fans and they have access to so many characters but waste them and hardly use enough villains. The lack of villains is one of the things that annoys me the most on 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' 'cause that is the perfect show to to bring in a lot of villains from the comic books but they just use the same ones over and over again. Are you going to be watching 'Titans' and 'Swamp Thing' along with the final season of 'Gotham?'

If Titans and Swamp Thing come to DVD I'll watch it but I'm not going to pay for the streaming service. I am definitely tuning for the final season of Gotham. I love this show and have enjoyed every second of it and can't wait to see how everything ends.

I think 'Titans' and 'Swamp Thing' will definitely come out on DVD unless they are huge flops and DC pulls them after the first episode and there might be a bit of a wait for them 'cause they are on their 'DC Online Streaming Service' but with the service not being available all around the world I can see them releasing them quicker and we are getting a lot of Netflix shows on DVD here now and 'Travelers' Season One finally came out on DVD here in Australia recently and 'Everything Sucks' is on the upcoming releases. I will be watching 'Gotham' for sure too and we are still watching that here now and the latest episode recorded tonight. You should check out the Marvel shows sometime too like 'The Runaways', 'The Gifted' and 'Cloak and Dagger.'

Are they having Canadian country music artists in the next season of Arrow because bring it on. Let's get some Paul Brandt, Terri Clark, Doc Walker and Shania Twain and turn it up.

That would be fun to see as long as their appearances lasted longer than Billy Joel's appearance on 'Arrow.' They made out he was going to be a big part of the episode in articles and when the episode finally came he was only in it for 30 seconds or less and I feel sorry for Billy Joel fans who don't watch 'Arrow' but tuned in thinking they were going to see him a lot. It is hard to believe some of the journalists who write these articles 'cause they overemphasise so many things which often lead to disappointment. It would have been more fun if they had actually had Billy Joel act and Oliver had to protect him from getting killed by somebody.

Journalists can only report on what they're told. If they're told Billy Joel will have a prominent role in an episode, they'll report that. So it's not their fault, but the showrunners lying to increase views.

That's true and not just the showrunners but the CW Network is looking for ratings so they will use a celebrity like Billy Joel to get people to watch the shows on their channel even if they mislead people on how long his appearance is going to be. I was surprised over how short Goldberg's role on 'The Flash' was 'cause I was expecting to see more action scenes from him since he is a wrestler and has acted in movies before but he was in it for two episodes and gone.

I think it works in reverse also, "journalist" can and will mislead you by contorting what they have been told to sensationalise it as much as they can, Billy Joel cameo in Arrow isn't going to do much to get attention, same with a lot of those "What You Missed In..." or "What Many People Don't Know About..." videos where they point out obvious things everyone notices or knows or go reaching for connections, which if you see it for trailers for CBM's then see the actual films a lot of those "hard to spot" connection which were "foreshadowing" the plot don't actually amount to anything, so most likely that's not a reference just some numpty reaching.
But Arrow have lied to us so many times it's hard to believe they were innocent in such a deception this time around, but I have to say I never even saw the Billy Joel stuff nor did I notice it in the episode other than I think wondering huh why are they showing this, that's odd, but I just assumed it was an odd choice the director for that episode was trying out.

Oh definitely. I agree. A lot of journalists are known for sensationalizing things just to get people's attentions and it often works and they get more people buying the newspapers or magazines to read about it and I don't know if magazines still sell a lot in your country Dazz but they still do here and 'Woman's Day' and 'Women's Weekly' are two of the biggest culprits here for sensationalizing things and there was a picture of a male celebrity in one magazine not long ago going shopping with a woman and they got all these other pictures of them together and then published them saying he was having an affair and the unknown woman was his sister. I think the websites were as much to blame as 'Arrow' for blowing Billy Joel's role up and making out it was bigger than it turned out to be but they were probably paid by the CW Network to do it too so it could have been a joint effort.

Hype in reporting is nothing new, but it doesn't make it anymore pleasant. The internet is the worse because many people think the internet cannot put up anything that is not true and lack the skills to know if a story is exaggerated just so people can click on the link.

Tell me about. They were actually talking about that on the news this morning and the problem with the internet is there are so many false facts out there about people especially celebrities you don't know what is true or false in some cases and there was an Australian actress that got bullied online recently 'cause somebody made up a false rumour about her supporting pedophilia and used an interview where she talked about her 16 year old boyfriend from when she was 15 and took it completely out of context and all these people believed it 'cause they saw it on a site and it was incorrect and abused her. The weirdest one was the Peter Dutton living in your country who got all these abusive messages online from people who thought he was the Australian politician when his profile picture looked nothing like the Peter Dutton here and he was African American.

So who are these new characters coming for season 7? We didn’t see any them on the ad on Fox8 and we didn’t even see Aresanal. Why are they being so secretive? This could be a bad thing. I am not sure we are in Kansas anymore Toto.

I think they're trying to build suspense by keeping us in the dark. Of course giving their track record for barely using new characters, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Especially since the characters will look and act nothing like the characters we've come to know and love.

That or given their history for just blatantly lying to us fuck knows if these new characters will be anything but maybe cameo's or one off appearances.
I am waiting for the day they troll us and hype up Bruce Wayne appearing on Arrow in the first Arrowverse appearance of the character and he'll be one of a dozen suits Oliver shakes hands with and will not be identified by anything but a fucking name badge no one normal will notice.
