Just to recap, JL made $229 million domestically, while Solo is currently just under $203 million. Do you think it’ll beat JL or not?

I predict "Solo" will not beat "Justice League". After four weeks "Justice League" was at $215.3 million. After four weeks "Solo" is at $198.1 million. EDIT: I wanted to post this yesterday, but I couldn't find this article again. |

The weekend estimates are now in. After 38 days "Justice League" was at $222.7 million. After 38 days "Solo" is at $207.3 million. However Solo's weekend #6 was $2.3 million vs. $1.1 million for Justice League. So Solo might just catch up to Justice League, since it seems to have better legs. |

Small theater, maybe 25-30 people. One teen. Everyone else looked at least 30 or closer to my age (i was 17 when the original came out in 1977). Unlike the other 2 times which skewed younger, this one seemed more involved. Laughed at the jokes. Clapped at the end. |

No it will not pass Justice League. It would have to have an unprecedented spike at the box office to do that. It's not going to happen.

After seven weeks, Solo is at $211.5 million, while Justice League was at $226.4 million. Solo will be in 315 theaters during its eighth week, while Justice League was in 518. So I'm going to stick with my original prediction that "Solo" will not beat "Justice League". |
