Comics. The original Nick Fury from the 60s. Hot Rod and Racing car titles. The Warren magazines, Vampirella, Eerie, Creepy. Heavy Metal. I wish I could afford to get back into photography. I still have all my old Minolta cameras and lenses. Too many bills these days.

...heh...I have a camera collection. About 25 all in working order. A favorite of mine is my Rollei35 which is the smallest fully functional 35mm camera ever produced. 2 Leica's, an Olympus OM2 system, a Yashica MAT 124G, a 1932 Agfa-Gevaert half frame 127 roll film camera...many others...my father was a professional and it rubbed off...:-)

Not weird, but I collect CDs. I have many of them. I like owning a physical copy of the music I listen to.
Not a physical item, but I have a huge collection of old no-longer-needed files on my computer, going back to 2006. I always transfer them over each time I get a new computer. Some of them are very nostalgic now.

When I was a kid, I collected AOL floppy disks and CDs. It spiraled out of control when I discovered that AOL offered free discs through their website. There was no limit to how many you could order, so I'd request 100's of them. The mailman actually had to carry bundles of discs to my front porch because they wouldn't fit in the mailbox.

I'm not sure how weird it is, but I collect old car brochures. Mostly from the 1950's to early 1980's.
I used to collect vintage videogame consoles but they take up a lot of space. Only ones I have left are my Atari 2600 (my original from 1981) and an Odyssey 2. I also still have our Apple IIGS that my Dad bought brand new (cost a fortune back then).
Another thing that I collect but takes up some space are vintage Penguin (mostly the Classics) paperbacks. I only collect the ones from the '60s to early '80s (the Germano Facetti designed ones).

I also collect old TV magazines, particularly 1970s ones, such as the Australian magazines "TV Week" and "TV Times".
Yesterday I bought two Mexican TV magazines, even though I don't speak Spanish. I am hoping they might contain some vintage TV listings that I can use on my "TV Schedule" threads on the classic TV decades boards.

110 film cameras (Remember 110 film? It was popular in the 1970s despite its graininess, and yes it is still made). One of my more unusual ones is a camera branded with the "Kool-Aid" drink, which actually takes relatively decent photos. CD-i games. Though remembered as a games console, CD-i was intended to be a general purpose multimedia player, which could be used for educational software, watching films, playing karaoke discs, playing games, and other purposes. It was introduced in 1991 and discontinued in 1997, meaning it had a much longer lifespan than many people think (some sources wrongly state it was introduced in 1993). Soviet cameras. Surprisingly easy to get a hold of, and many of them take film formats still made. I missed out on a brilliant Soviet camera through dithering once. A 35mm SLR with 200mm and wide angle lenses, rifle stock handle, all in an aluminium case. $80 at K-Mart. I went home to think about it and by the time I got back a few days later it was gone. Why did K-Mart have an idiosyncratic wildlife camera kit, and at such a ludicrous price?

I had perhaps 40 cameras in a suitcase, awaiting some time when I could repair, refurbish and display them. Cyclone Debbie early this year took the suitcase and floated it around for several days in muddy rank water. I haven't had the heart (or time) to open the case to see what condition they are all in now. All I have left is a 1940s Robot.
Now I am collecting VW Kombi van models. I even have a hand-painted VW Kombi T shirt to wear while I admire the display.

Something else I forgot to mention. I collect those old North Pacific brand model airplanes. They were often sold in grocery and drug stores. They had names like the Stunt Flyer, Sleek Streek and Star Flyer.

I don't think it's weird, but I collect vintage stuffed animals and Barbie dolls from the 80s and 90s. I also like to collect makeup products like MAC, Lime Crime, and Too Faced.

...at a recent Estate sale, I purchased a box full of 1920's & 1930's metal cars still in their original wrap. 25 of them in all including a Bugatti and a Duesenberg.

Cameras? Comics? Stuffed animals? Wine bottle labels? OK guys-and-gals, I've got you beat for "UNUSUAL" and I've been collecting these for nearly 56 years!
RADIO STATION MUSIC CHARTS! (You probably have to be at least 35 to even know what these are. They pretty much became extinct in the middle 1990s.)
Yes, the sheets that you used to be able to pick up in record shops, etc. which listed the top xx (usually 30 or 40) songs of the week. I probably have the largest collection in the world, but would very much like to hear from anybody else who collects these! I usually collect ONE of these for each individual radio station - and from the earliest year possible.
I am actually offering good money for ones that I need from the 1950s (almost always three-digit offers!) but even that era it's hard to "scoop" me on anything. (I am very "weak" on Fifties ones from the Southeast, and the Great Plains.)

Glass and copper/enamel shallow dishes from the Modernist period. Amongst way too many other things, probably weirder than those.

Square nails. I’m referring to the old style nails as they were made in the 19th and early 20th century. I live in the country and come across them in old fence posts and the such.
I also collect old wheat pennies, and other older coins, which isn’t weird. But generally speaking, old circulated coins aren’t worth much, unless they are rare, or are made of precious metal.

I collect Frankenstein memorabilia. I have about 15 copies of the novel, various paperback editions dating back to the 1950's, but also pick up new editions of it when I see a cool new cover. Most recently I bought the Barnes & Noble leather bound edition. I don't really buy Frankenstein toys anymore, but do still have the ones from my youth and a bust of the creature that I found in an antique mall a few years back. I have household stuff related to the monster: coffee mugs, throw pillows, coasters, a salt and pepper shaker holder, shower curtain, artwork etc. I have several different movie versions on DVD and Blu-ray.
I collect vinyl records, not a massive collection, but about 100-150 and a pretty sweet turntable and stereo setup.
