I'd have to go with Titanic (1997) simply because it broke the box office record being the highest film ever to gross over $1 billion.

Unforgiven, no doubt about that. Schindler's List does come close, but Unforgiven is my favourite.

Braveheart (1995) - 10/10 (within my Top 8 movies)
that's a easy choice as nothing else challenges it on that list as Forrest Gump (7/10 ; within my Top 156 movies) is the only other one worth mentioning.
