Revelation 3:15-17 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
Just for the record i am agnostic. I just like that verse.

Also
"Blessed are the cheesemakers"
And this is not meant to be taken literally. It refers to any manufacturers of dairy products.

Hey, @graham, can we drag this over to the RFS board? I'd like to keep church and state separate!

Psalm 34:5 - Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.

Matthew 19:23-24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

I don't agree with the theology, but I do like "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”

You were the only RFS member on line, and I thought you might know how to reference this on our board. I'd like to see what some of our more stellar members think of this!!

When I applied my mind to know wisdom and to observe the labor that is done on earth—people getting no sleep day or night—
then I saw all that God has done. No one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all their efforts to search it out, no one can discover its meaning. Even if the wise claim they know, they cannot really comprehend it.
Ecclesiastes 12:16-17

Too many to pick a favorite, but here's the coolest:
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” John 8

Who said this? King Herod or Jesus?
"But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me."

"But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them--bring them here and kill them in front of me." 26 ‘I tell you that everyone who has will be given more; but the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 27 And these enemies of mine who were unwilling for me to rule over them, bring them here and slay them in front of me.’” 28 After Jesus had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.…

This is mine. I wish Trump would tweet it sometime.
Since this has been moved over to the RFS board, I will make the comment that I first posted on this topic: Now, I'm not big on Bible verses but my favorite amendment to the Constitution of the United States is Amendment 1, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the right of the people peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. I'm getting a bit weary of people trying to use the bible to keep out immigrants. What do you think?
