And he is still awful to watch. I guess he will become even more for you since NBA cleared his new flashy moves that purists wouldn't like. They say he should be booked for traveling. All I saw was him not get called for a travel at one point in pre season when he probably should have. Not sure about the league "clearing his new flashy moves", but maybe you know something I dont. Still, he's going to run into a lot of people, flail his arms around like a fish out of water trying to draw a foul, and be as annoying as ever. Failing and flopping multiple times a game. He is still going to just stand around on defense fairly often, and just let people run past him. Add to that he now has Melo on his team (gross), I wont be watching many of their games, and i'm definitely not sad about it!

Harden has not had a great start to the season though he may improve and get back at playing at MVP level.
I will also point out that your guy Steven Adam is also not a very likeable person which is really surprising given Kiwi guys like Kane Williamson, Daniel Vettori and some others have been among the most likeable guys in world of sports.

They're essentially the American version of the Royal family. Which means I don't really give a rats ass about them either.

Why don't you think he is likeable? I don't think he is famous among people who are not fans of his team. He doesn't have that boyishness like that of Kane Williamson or a personality like that of Stephen Fleming. I am not saying he is bad or anything. He doesn't have that personality that appeals to me or for that matter to most people. It even may be that people dislike his teammate Russell Westbrook and thus that dislike is carried forward to him.
Have you got anything to say about the unprecedented season of offensive greatness that James Harden is having this season? I mean it is now Harden vs all.

Yeah, its gross. Still cant stand watching him. He took 38 shots the other day against the knicks to get his points, missed 15 3 pointers. Yuck. Flailed his way to 25 free throws. And dont get me started on his uncalled travels and utter inability to play defence. Have no interest in watching him. There isnt a player in the league I want to watch play less. He went 1-17 from 3 a few days ago.... Unprecedented? Comparing it to history is pointless due to how fouls are called now.

You see someone's season average. Talking about fouls reminds me of Maradona. I haven't even seen anything in basketball that I have been saying recently. In one of the game he was double and then triple teamed for almost entire game. At one point of time I saw all 5 players within 2 feet of him.
Are you even watching his games? He is our 2nd best defender at the moment. 4th in steal in all NBA and he makes so many deflections. he has vastly improved his defense.

I don't know enough about him. He is single handedly leading his team to the playoffs. Main players of his team are injured. He is literally playing with G-league players in NBA (players on 10 day contracts or washed up players) and still winning games. He has broken Kobe Bryant's many records and it seems he will break Jordon's 37 point per game average for the season.

1 for 17 from three. Just the other day. And 5 from 20 yesterday. Disgusting to watch. "You see someones season average." I dont know what you mean. Watching basketball pretty quickly shows you what stats can hide. Like his unwillingness/inability to play defence. Ive seen enough to know he still cant defend. "I haven't even seen anything in basketball that I have been saying recently." I dont know what this sentence means. Harden gets a ridiculous amount of unearned calls. Where he initiates the contact, and just flings his head back a flails his arms around. Someplayers are sick of it too, guarding him with hands behind their backs. Im sick of watching him get away with all the double step back travels, and other travels as well. There is no player I like watching less than Harden. The sooner he chokes again in the playoffs, the better in my book. Your picture was too big to load properly, but the gist seemed to be trying to compare this streak of games to seasons gone by. Comparing him to other eras is difficult due to how fouls are called now. There is no comparing him to Jordan.

Comparing him to other eras is difficult due to how fouls are called now. There is no comparing him to Jordan. Here's what I have to say Mr. 1 from 17 dude: Harden's 3 point % for this season is .374. Jordon's 3 point % was .182 for his best season and .327 for his career. Kobe's 3% was .347 for his best season and .329 for his career. True shooting % of Harden is better than true shooting % of Kobe and Jordon. As for him getting fouls it's amazing to blame him for that than the defenders for fouling him. Is Harden born with some extra rights? If it was so easy to get fake calls then I am sure others will be getting too. On youtube, people like Paul Pierce and Scottie Pippen are posting videos on how to defend him. The fact is that he is a player with every kind of skill and that's why he gets fouled. He isn't limited to catch and shoot a basketball. In all possibility, you haven't seen anything of Harden this season (given your intense dislike) but you are adamant to believe that his defense could have improved. His defensive rating is neutral which means his team is not worse off or better off defensively when he is not on the court. Now it is your right to be annoyed at his playing style. His last 250 points have been unassisted. I find that awesome as opposed to seeing some idiot called Klay Thompson catching and shooting and doing the same thing over and over. Harden makes his teammates so much better that even 10-day contract players start looking good as they get open shots because the entire defense is focused on Harden. He is carrying a G-league team and still getting victories. On the most difficult stretch of the Rockets, he got 10-2 record. Teams that have the best players win the championships. Harden had one good player last season and it do be dishonest to believe Rockets wouldn't have had better chances of winning last season had CP3 not got injured. If Harden doesn't win this year against 5 all-stars of GSW it would not make him a lesser player.

You've missed my point on the 1 for 17 more than once. You've missed my point on how the game has changed too. My point was how fouls were called then (very physical play let go) vs now (any contact is a foul, basically), but threes have changed too. Not that many used to be attempted. For example, Jordan was taking less than 1 a game in the season you mention vs Harden's 13+ per game. Watching Jordan go 0-2 from 3 in a game isn't horrible sport to view. Watching Harden miss 16 three pointers in one game, and 15 more a few days later is horrible to watch. Outside of that, Jordan's FG percentage is better than Harden's, year in, year out. Back when people could defend physically too (making it much harder for Jordan to get his stats than Harden getting his), unlike now where someone breathes on Harden and he flops and goes to the line. Its hard to believe you are actually watching these games if you don't know what I mean by him drawing fouls. Harden often CREATING contact, flailing his arms, throwing back his head AND getting the foul isn't the fault of the guy who gets called for the foul. By definition of what i'm talking about. Yes, Harden is VERY good at drawing fouls that arent fouls. You can call that a skill, but its awful to watch. That's consistently been my point. He is awful to watch. You are disagreeing with things talked about day in, day out, on every ESPN show talking about basketball. I was going to bring up the 263 consecutive unassisted points as a negative, you bring it up as a positive! Classic. Anyway, there is nothing interesting to gain from this. Harden is awful to watch. Comparing his season to legends of the past is laughable and frankly pointless. I certainly dont find these stats comparisons interesting.

Comparing his season to legends of the past is laughable and frankly pointless. I certainly dont find these stats comparisons interesting. Not sure why you are trying to insinuate that Harden's FG% is poor when it is absolutely awesome. Okay, let's eliminate 3 point shots. Harden's career 2 point percentage is .505 against Kobe's .479 and Jordon's .510. And Harden's career 3 point % is decent and so is his season 3%. And you are saying that making a lot of unassisted points is a negative point. I hope you are not one of those who misconstrue Harden making unassisted points as him not assisting others. Harden's 4th in the league in assists. He is making those unassisted shots because he hasn't got good passers in the team. It's not as if he is selfish ball-hog like Westbrook. He is a team player. When CP3 returns I am sure he won't be making unassisted points at this level. You got to judge a player on resources available to him. and I am not sure what you are even trying to achieve. You either compare him with old players or new players. If you believe he fails against legends then compare him with his rivals. He is leading the league in Value Over-replacement. He is the 2nd most efficient player in the league and only Anthony Davis marginally betters him in efficiency. Last season he was the most efficient player. In fact he has been among top 5 most efficient players in 4 of the last 5 seasons. Considering forced workload that Harden manages, that efficiency is out of the world. I have no problems in accepting that one might not like Harden's playing style. But most of the people who dislike Harden are either misinformed or have pre-conceived notions. I suspect they don't watch his games. Know very little about him and focus more on his misses than his makes. Hitting 3s at .375 is better than making 2s at .555. In any case, it seems you are not enjoying this conservation so I call it quits.
