I'm an avid watcher of the Netflix Marvel shows. They're not perfect but, I prefer them to the superhero TV shows on the other networks.

They do indeed suck. In fact, Netflix sucks. Do yourself a favor and cancel it.

The Punisher is the best followed by Daredevil.
The Netflix shows aren't perfect but I'd watch it over that CW tween shit.

Yeah Instill watch them but overall I think they're slipping.
Daredevil Season 1 is still the best one for me. Recently saw Jessica Jones Season 2, it wasn't bad by any means but it was just alright.
I wouldn't say any of them are garbage. Iron Fist was the worst one but yeah I alsomentioned watch over any of these Network TV super shows like Arrow or Legends of Tommorow.

I got to say Iron Fist/The Defenders put me off of watching them for a bit. I have JJ season 2 and LC season 2 to watch. From DD season 1 to Defenders I binged the shows within like a week of them dropping. With Punisher I waited like 2 weeks. With JJ season 2 and LC season 2 I haven't even attempted to watch them yet.

I gave them all a perfect 10 way better than the movies. Very minor flaws like Kat not being in them but still great

If you want to die of alcohol poisoning. Any time Danny tells someone he is the Immortal Iron Fist take a drink. If that person doesn't believe him finish the drink.

They are the best superhero shows on TV. Iron Fist and The Defenders were huge let downs, but they redeemed themselves with Jessica Jones season 2 and Luke Cage season 2, which were both excellent. There has never been a comic book TV show better than Daredevil IMO.
Also, what is with people dogging Netflix lately? Sadly, I watch more TV shows than probably anybody. It is actually sick. I watch everything. Netflix is BY FAR the best streaming service out there and I can argue that with anyone. Name me a better one now and I will tell you that you are wrong. It is not just great from a functional standpoint, but it has the best original programming and the largest selection of content out there. Daredevil, Stranger Things, Narcos, Sense8, House of Cards, Glow, Orange is the New Black, etc.

Daredevil season 1 is still probably the best Marvel show they've done, but the only truly poor showing was Iron Fist; and it seems like they've made the necessary changes to Danny's character in Luke Cage S2. As bad as his show was, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with him now.

Sure, from a stand alone show point of view, it was terrible, but the story was good and the characters are awesome. I liked most of them. It was just that the fight scenes sucked and the writing sucked. I feel that if they have the right people making season 2, then it can actually be great.

I didn't hate it as much as most, which is funny considering the character is one of my favorites. I actually thought the show worked better if you saw the Meachums as the main characters. There are some fun elements to the show, as you said it's filled with interesting characters (I even liked the homeless dude in the park). The problem was the show was supposed to revolve around Danny Rand and he was the least interesting character on the whole show. The writing was all over the place, and yeah the fight choreography was criminally bad-- this is supposed to be the best fighter in the world!! Still I found it oddly compelling, again if more for the Meachums than anything else. As an ode to the comic book character it's a failure for sure; but as a show in itself, it was at least watchable, which is more than most people give it credit for.

As bad as his show was, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with him now. They have improved Iron Fist significantly. His cameo on Luke Cage Season 2 nearly brought a tear to my hollow eye sockets. It's everything I'd ever wanted in a Power Man and Iron Fist live-action team up. The Luke Cage show-runner knows how to play those two characters off of each other (more so than the show-runner for Iron Fist Season 1). Power Man and Iron Fist was one of the first comic books I'd ever read, and they finally captured the spirit of that unique partnership in live action. I think most people's complaints about Marvel Netflix shows revolves around their lousy consumption habits. If you try to force feed yourself thirteen hours of content in less then twenty-four hours just to publish a half-baked review on YouTube before everyone else, you're going to be fatigued, and that will be reflected in your commentary. I'll admit that the shows aren't reaching the stellar heights of their freshman debuts but, even on their worst day, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Daredevil and Iron Fist (to a lesser degree) are still the most challenging superhero TV shows streaming since the 1970s incarnation of the Incredible Hulk. Luke Cage is a brilliant reworking of the black exploitation-cinema ethos. It takes what was cringe-worthy and redeems it by giving it modern context and a more comprehensive view of black culture. I love the fact that I need to turn on the captions to understand the Jamaican Patois some of the characters speak with. This isn't Townsend and Washington flashing perfect teeth and god-awful accents in The Mighty Quinn. Luke Cage feels real.

I was watching an early episode this season and it occurred to me, in the middle of the conversation, that I could understand them just fine (Specifically, I even knew what Bushmaster meant when he said, "Don dada is not plural.") but most people probably don't know what they're saying. I give credit to my eclectic musical taste, lol. But yeah I think that's what I appreciate about Cage and Jessica Jones-- they're super hero shows, but they're not. No costumes, not a ton of CGI. It's more about what it would be like if a real person with real problems ended up with super powers. Long stretches go by without anything comic bookish happening, to the point that somebody gets thrown through a wall or whatever and you're like, 'oh yeah these are powered individuals.'

The show moves seamlessly from intelligent drama to high fantasy without straining credibility (to the point where it will be irreparably broken). The grow-house sequence was really a stand out for me. When Danny opens the scene with an explosive punch to the side of a wall to create an entrance for the duo, you understand that he's doing something Luke can't do and that their respective power sets will complement each other in the next few moments. It was pure comic-book-action-sequence poetry. I really hope they can pull season two of Iron Fist together. He's such a great character in the comics.

I gave up after the Defenders. Is anyone here still watching them? They could be better, and I think they definitely need bigger budgets so that we could see these SUPER characters do SUPER things. Also I think they start strong and end strong, but have these middle episodes that are a bit... meh But I would hardly say they're garbage. I actually loved both Daredevil seasons, and thought Iron Fist was much better than it was said it was.
