Rate "Moonlighting," the unconventional romantic comedy/adventure starring Cybill Shepherd that also launched the career of Bruce Willis.

i remember liking what i saw [which admittedly wasn't much] when i was a child but i tried it now... couldn't sit through it.
they really bombed it with the 'constantly breaking the fourth wall' thing. bruce was great, always thought he was. Cybill was great as well but i don't think they really meshed together.

I absolutely loved this show through the first couple of seasons. When it started getting surreal and self-referential I stuck with it for a while. Lost interest by the end, though, probably due as much to the soap opera quality of the relationship between Shepherd and Willis as much as anything.

7/10. The first few episodes were iffy but it found its stride later.

I gave it 7 though it has some really bad episodes, especially when David and Maddy are nowhere to be seen because the actors had other commitments (still don't understand that. If you're doing a tv show, do the tv show).

8/10, it had some clunker episodes to be sure, but man the heights it hit when it was clicking on all cylidners were fantastic.
