I just now got around to seeing the film, and I have to ask; does the movie expect us to agree with Maisie about how the dinosaurs should live, or are we supposed to acknowledge how horrifying it is that dinosaurs now live freely among humans? The scene where she freed them seemed like it was suggesting the former, but the ending montage with the dinosaurs roaming about while Malcolm was narrating everything seemed to suggest the latter.
So which is it? Are we supposed to side with the stupid clone kid, or are we supposed to view her as the reckless idiot that she is?

She's really pretty demented for doing that. All the death and destruction that's going to happen is on her. The inevitable next movie will show just how many people will die because she was so ignorant to what would happen.
That scene essentially said that dinosaur lives are more important than human lives. Pretty dumb.
