I think I've reread ten out of over 1,000 that I've read.

Yes. I’ve reread Stephen Kong’s Desperation, The Shining, Hearts in atlantis twice, and several short stories.
Also reread Takamis Battle Royale 2 or 3 times. I can’t remember. Also The Magicians Nephew and the Harry Potter series books 1-5.

I've reread a bunch of books, Lord of the Rings-trilogy tops it with about 5-7 times. I used to do it more often before than I do now.
With all the distractions nowadays and always being connected (which leads to other things "stealing" time), I don't seem to have the time to reread. I always have a book but they take longer to finish than before.

I think I've reread ten out of over 1,000 that I've read. I re-read some of my favourite books: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen Persuasion by Jane Austen The Mother Tongue by Bill Bryson Notes from a Small Island by Bill Bryson The Persian Boy by Mary Renault A few of the Jeeves books by P.G. Wodehouse (sometimes I'll read only my favourite parts from them)

Yes, I've done it many times. Every 5-7 years I reread all the original Conan Doyle Holmes stories. The Harry Potter series. Asimov's Foundation series. The Travis McGee series. About 5 years ago I read all the original Nero Wolfe stories, many of them rereads. The Abhorsen series by Garth Nix. There's more, but I'll stop there.

I've read a few other Foundation novels that were written much later when Asimov was more consumed with word count, pushing out ponderous novels that seemed interminable. But the original trilogy definitely has a charm and features the best surprise 'reveal' I have seen in all of SF literature.

The book I've read the most is Nova by Samuel Delany. It's a very short novel but I love his writing style in Nova. In most of his other works, his style can be more of a hindrance to the reading experience. He gets it just right with Nova.

Generally no. I'm of the "so many books so little time" ilk. That being said, I am re-reading Salem's Lot to see if it's as creepy as i remember it.

Yes, I reread books that I love and when a series has finished, I'll start with the first book and read all the way through to the end. I always find that I missed something or have forgotten something. Rereading books is like visiting old friends.

I've read all of Jane Austen several times over; re-read Vanity Fair twice; read several of Shirley Jackson's books more than once, and know darn well there are at least several other novels I've double-or-triple read over the years. Some books just get better as you bring age and increased experience to them, and some are just too darned fun to let go with a single reading, and some are splendid for thumbing through repeatedly to take your mind off of current worries. I can't imagine anyone who really loves reading not having at least a few favorite volumes they've imbibed more than once.

Re-read LOTR:FOTR prior that, & planning to re-read LOTR:TTT in the fall.

Not often, but there are occasions. Mainly F. Paul Wilson’s “The Adversary Cycle” collection, especially “The Keep” topping the list. In recent times David Peace’s Red Riding Quartet.

Very rarely. Can't remember the last time I did that - probably "Dune" decades ago.
