Not quite sure what you’re asking, shannondegroot—what non-movie Indy adventures are movie-worthy?

A lot. There were games and comics that would had been awesome film sequels;I had only read one of the novels so I'm not sure how those held up.

Not quite sure what you’re asking, shannondegroot —what non-movie Indy adventures are movie-worthy? How many of his archeological quests in his lifetime have been going after an artifact that would involve enough globe trotting, mystery, rival competing, henchmen to punch and just overall excitement to fill a 2 hour movie?

Take any of the stories done by Dark Horse Comics and there were some good ones by Marvel back in the day. If they continued the movies into the 90s, adapting the games FATE OF ATLANTIS and THE INFERNAL MACHINE would had been a useful transition from the mysticism of the OT to the paranormal shift in KOTCS.

Should just hire a new Indy actor & release these tales every 2-3yrs like James Bond movies. Get new actors every 3-5 films.

Which was the book you’ve read again, politicidal ? Trying to decide if I should read one, but no one at the Raven is responding to my request for more information. shannondegroot, outside the movies I’ve only read a few of the comics (the second Dark Horse omnibus, which included Golden Fleece, Shrine of the Sea Devil, Iron Phoenix, Spear of Destiny, and Sargasso Pirates—of these I only really remember Spear of Destiny, though) and, now, a few TV movies from Young Indy. I also tried playing an Indy video game ( Staff of Kings, I think?) once, but I got as fed up with it as I do about most video games!

As far as the series goes, it's standard fare. Fascists looking for unlimited gold supply and Jones teams up with a ginger librarian.

As I remember, it's interesting because they really don't focus on alchemy or its history that much throughout the series. I remember liking the villain for being so ott.

I interrupted the terribly written but somewhat interestingly plotted Indiana Jones and the Hollow Earth to read something else much better about Indy: the comic-book adaptation of a video game called Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, which I’ve heard about for years. It’s not perfect, but it’s, as I wrote, much better than Hollow Earth—and more Indy-esque to boot. This one’s “cinema-worthy,” shannondegroot.

I wonder though, in his life from let's say age 20 - 80. how many adventures he's been on, like I say that were cinema worthy, but I mean like how many exactly. Like 3 a year? 1 a year? 60 adventures?
