Have a perfect soul mate, perfect sex, perfect marriage, perfect romance, a relationship that never dulls and you always feel like you did when you first met ...for 50 years...
Or be Immortal, live for centuries, upon centuries, and never age, but never feel love?

Centuries and centuries of working and paying taxes? No thanks.

Immortality. My life has been awful the last 3 years because of my intense hypochondria and intense fear of death. If I could stop being afraid of death then I would be a really happy person even without love.

Or be Immortal, live for centuries, upon centuries, and never age, but never feel love? It would have to depend upon the nature of the immortality.
There'd be little joy or point in living forever if you were old and decrepit.
However, if you were reasonably youthful and fit, I'll take immortality every time, thanks.

Why would you want to live forever while everyone else you love and care for grow old and die?

Why would you want to live forever while everyone else you love and care for grow old and die? New people I could love and care for would be born eventually.
And when they grow old and die, just rinse and repeat.

The former, of course. I'm not nuts.
Well, not dangerously so.

Immortal - providing I can end it when I want, and bang a ton of chicks even though they don't love me.

Especially if sex isn't excluded, immortality.

Or be Immortal, live for centuries, upon centuries, and never age, but never feel love? EASILY. Without love I wouldn't want to live.

Good God. Life is fucking terrible. And people want to live forever? I'm over here trying to think of ways to shave a few years off. Especially if you were the only one with immortality. That sounds fucking AWFUL.

Than live without that forever.

Your life has been awful the last 3 years because of your intense hypochondria and intense fear of death and yet you want to extend that to immortality? Wtf? He didn't say your hypochondria and fear of death would be cured. He just said you'd be immortal. You could be immortal and still have irrational fears. That's why they're phobias, because they're irrational. And not to mention... your face!

It's a pretty simple choice... the first choice with the soul mate.
