The Astounding She-Monster and another one with "she" in the title, The She Creature.
I found yet another Fifties sci-fi flick, Target Earth, highly watchable.
Two Lost Worlds is another.

Zhang Yimou's "The Wall" starring Matt Damon is so bad it's great. I watched this film twice in two days. One of those times when you see the title sitting on the top of your pile and immediately think: "I could watch that again." And I did. And I loved it again. It's so hokey, corny, retro, crazy, bad that it's good. It was like "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad" meets "Crouching Dragon, Hidden Tiger" meets "Stormship Troopers." I knew nothing about this film -- glad it didn't get much attention -- so the surprise wasn't wasted on me. I thought the dialogue was top notch -- funny action picture stuff. Characters were all great. I just wish Willem Dafoe had had a bigger chance to shine. Maybe a Ron Moody kind of "Oliver" moment. But Damon and Pedro Pascal (who was just perfect in his role and very likeable) were just great and very amusing. I won't discuss it much more for spoilers, but I thought this was a perfect "It's so bad it's good" film. And it's not even that bad! It's just the high concept that there's something so wacky about!

Agent For H.A.R.M/ A Mark Richman starrer (yes). It's magnetically bad. Train wreck watchable.
The Twonky, a 1953 Arch Oboler directed "satire" of television and its effect on a college professor, played by the as a general rule can do no harm Hans Conried in the lead. Mostly because of Conried I loved it as a child and stayed up late to watch it, was not disappointed. I'm disappointed now but can still watch it. Lots of talented people with good credentials in the credits, the budget wouldn't buy a Hershey bar.

Yes, though I wish the movie itself,--The Twonky, I mean--had a few more cents to its budget, an extra hour or so for rehearsals.

IMPO - The scene with the TV & Stand-legs walking by itself was an extremely clever scene for it's time - most definitely Pre CGI .

Yes, Mszanadu: they did the best with what they had. Then there's the (sort of) Twilight Zone TV "sequel", What's In The Box, from the show's final season. It's nearly a horror episode about a man who sees a dreadful future for himself on his television set, and as things develop, those things start happening . Its setting is as uncomfortable as The Twonky's is inviting and cozy; and it plays like a nightmare.

A very well put opposite comparison between this TZ episode you mentioned here and this classic fun film also your spot-on reply here too telegonus . IMPO - I always thought this Twonky film would have made a great fun movie type episode extra to the original Twilight Zone Boxset Collection ( after all it was already done before the TV Show too ) . Thanks for your reply .

Another favorite of mine too berzelmayr . IMPO - This film to me seemed to have a very mature yet near tragic along the way storyline too . Of course I really liked this film at the same time but I never considered this one to be a family film because of those two factors . Although it does have a few fun or uplifting moments in between . It was also young actor Jade Calegory's only film role too . Thanks berzelmayr for mentioning this one too .

Almost nobody agrees with me, but I get a kick out of watching the train wreck that is "Shanghai Surprise"... Posting to get that ridiculous "So" thread from appearing at the top of the board. Nothing with Sean Penn and Madonna in it is meant to be watched by anyone other than Statler and Waldorf. Exactly. It is so bad that it is fun to heckle

Do you know if Paul Rudd still shows THAT clip from Mac and Me every time he appears on Conan O'Briens' talk show?
