Plan 9, for example, is just bad.
Frankenhooker is just good.

This is it for me. Unbelievably incompetent, but astoundingly mesmerizing. Recently bought the Blu-Ray version. Beware Torgo's theme. Not too far behind is 'The Creeping Terror'. Listen for the song at the high school dance. You'll never be able to get it out of your mind.

It also is not clear how this burlap sack think could harm anybody.

"Kung Pow: Enter the Fist". I laughed until I cried at the same time yelling "This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen"!

I'd be more inclined to call this a comedy, it's that laughable. Yes folks Rankin/Bass. The people who gave you all your Christmas and other Holiday Claymation Classics - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and all the others, although this is an actual movie.

Which movie are you referring too? I'm referring to 'The Ivory Ape'. I simply point out that it was made by the same individual/company (Rankin/Bass) who made the Holiday Classics.

For some reason when I first read your post there was no image visible. I actually enjoy "The Ivory Ape" and I agree that it falls into the so bad it's good category.

I had to look this up as I had never heard of it and found that it was a TV movie, I guess that is why I missed knowing anything about it.

Listen for the song at the high school dance. You'll never be able to get it out of your mind. Fun facts (or legend) about The Creeping Terror. The reason why the movie is almost entirely narration and you cannot hear the actual characters speak is because they lost the sound track and didn't have the time or money the redo it. Also, many of the people that appear in the movie were just local folks who paid to be in the movie and that is how much of the movie's budget was raised.

I'm pretty sure that this was shot Italian style in terms of audio, in that it was shot silent with the intent that everything would be added in post production. I would be very surprised it had synchronous sound when being filmed. That would make it considerably cheaper to shoot. Not attempting to dub dialogue would make it much easier.

Circle Of Iron I always just thought this one was just good. It has a script that has contributions by Bruce Lee, James Coburn, and Sterling Silliphant was thought-provoking. The film was original and has some great lines. I was just thinking about the end a couple of days ago. I prefer the alternate title, "The Silent Flute" which fits in very well with the theme.
