Miguel Sapochnik is the director of The Gift, Hardhome, Battle of the Bastards and The Winds of Winter and is considered by many to be one of the best Game of Thrones directors. Do you think he's the best Game of Thrones director? What is your opinion on his work and his style?

I liked his and Jack Bender's episodes.
Sapochnik directed an episode of Iron Fist and it was way subpar from his Game of Thrones stuff.
I think he may be good at directing actions scenes whereas other directors are better at the more dramatic ones.

Anyone know if Sapochnik is scheduled to direct episodes in S7? I read that he might not be available, which was a major bummer after he did such an incredible job with Battle of the Bastards and The Winds of Winter.
With only 13 episodes left, they should make sure they're only using directors who have proven they bring their A-game to the series.

Bender indicated they are only using veterans of the series for the next couple of seasons and it would be shocking if he didn't make time to be a part of it.

No, Mr. Sapo is not doing a episode for S7 unfortunately. Fingers crossed he'll be here for S8 tho.
