Could it be propelled through space? What would be the gravitational effect on nearby galaxies and planets?

Are you talking about something, LIKE...
A Star Wars DEATH STAR... Like what some people think our Moon might actually be, which was supposedly brought to our solar system by Aliens...
Or perhaps, Something, LIKE...
Or do you really mean...
A really big Spaceship able to hold a crew the size of a population of an entire planet?
I'm no expert, but from looking at the history of our planet... With enough fuel, and enough thrust being produced by many engines... It should be able move through space... You just need to be able to over come the inertia, as well as the gravitational pull of other stars, and planets...
I think, Mathematically, that it is possible... I't just hard to actually achieve it.
As I noted, some people think our Moon is artificial, like a Star Wars Death Star, and was brought here thousands of years ago, by Aliens... Maybe it is true, maybe not...
If it is true, think about how the Moon affects our Earth?
The larger the object, the more effect it should have...
Just my 2 cents worth of an opinion...

Your reading comprehension sucks... You missed the point. You miss the point: it's not true.Never present something so patently false as "Maybe it is true, maybe not... " There is no "If true." It's not. Plain and simple.
