Either I'm getting old or that image is to tiny to read. It was bigger earlier. The cassette reads 'Angels with Filthy Souls.' The memorable movie Kevin watches in Home Alone. Kevin watches a dirty movie in Home Alone?

I remember seeing him around. I wonder if he'll set up his own thread here dedicated to it? I remember him too. I chatted with him a few times on IMDb boards, about some of the Up All Night movies I watched, back in the day.
Anyway, that poster was "RobBase086-1"..... I don't see him registered on this site as a member.
This is the signature tag that he used to use on his IMDb posts:
"Dedicated to USA UP ALL NIGHT and the fans! www.usaupallnight.webs.com"

*said like Tamar Braxton* " LIES you tell!" My face when I actually said that: Gifs won't play on my computer for some strange reason. Does he burst into laughter after telling a lie?

Night Flight was awesome. Fantastic Planet. J Men Forever. Magical Mystery Tour. Soft core horror movies like Flesh for Frankenstein and Daughters of Darkness. Drug scare propaganda shorts from the 30's. My first exposure to all of those was thanks to USA's Night Flight.
Good times.

USA Up All Night is sorely missed. It's hard to find a place to view those types of movies these days.

Is this the show that Joe Bob Briggs hosted? I love that guy. No, that was TNT's Monster Vision. I miss that one too. But USA Up All Night was hosted by Gilbert Gottfried and Rhonda Shear. They took turns hosting the show.

It's a perfect night for mystery and horror. The air itself is filled with monsters.

So many fun shows like this are gone. They did play some of the worse movies but they were so fun!

Why did USA discontinue it? In the 1980s, when homes were increasingly subscribing to cable TV, channels like USA, TNT, and WGN would show really cheap content because that's all they could afford. A typical day would show classic movies, low-budget films from the '70s and '80s, and then also a lot of TV shows from the '60s, '70s, and '80s. (This is why some shows like Leave it to Beaver, The Twillight Zone, and Gilligan's Island were revived.) By the late 1990s, these channels had increasingly become richer, and execs wanted to improve the channel's image. Programming changed substantially. And one of the casualties were the shows that played cheap sci-fi/horror films. It's probably just as well. The film industry changed quite a bit between 1995 and 2000, and the product was no longer there. I'm not sure why, but it probably has to do with increased union requirements and the price of equipment. I remember the people on the commentary for Teenage Exorcist talking about how you just could't make a cheap film in the early 2000s the way you could in the early and mid-'90s.

I forget what the channel type is called, but there are channels popping up a lot that play cheesy old movies, channels like BOUNCE, COMET, ANTENNA, LAFF, ESCAPE, and GRITT.

My cable system used to have Retro TV but then it changed into COMET, which I enjoy quite a bit. It also had GRITT but that changed into something called CHARGE in just the last couple of days. It looks like CHARGE will show some of the old B movie stuff as well. So some of these types of movies are out there but you have to look for them.

I remember there were a lot of Troma films played on USA Up All Night. Great stuff. I remember Troma War in particular.
