I used to love the look of the dashiki. I did not know it was African. I remember young white people wearing it in the early 70s. I never got around to buying one. I sure as hell would not look good in it now. By fashion standards of today it would be gaudy as hell. I used to wear something like Dashiki when I was about 20 years old. It was called designer Kurta. A Muslim style Kurta in particular. Some people even used to mistakenly confuse me for a Muslim when I wore that. I do love to wear that again but that is not in fashion now a days.

Lucy The Nigerian turban for women look awesome. I had a friend in my university who was an international student from Nigeria. She was absolutely gorgeous and her turban gave her a sort of royal look. At first I didn't know that turbans are worn by Nigerians. I used to think it is Arabs and Punjabis only who wear it. But I was wrong. Nigerian turbans are of various sizes. My friend used to wear something like this:

I love Victorian-era clothing (and interior design). You mean to say you like Victoria's secret clothing?
I just checked out Victoria era clothing. Some of them are very nice indeed. But that corset thing may have been difficult to wear.

I forgot to add the kilt. I went to a wedding where the groom and his groomsmen all worse the clans kilts and I found it very attractive. I don't remember which clan, but here's a general pic. Something about a man in a kilt I find very appealing.
