I thought I should post this here 'cause as some of you already know there is a 'V For Vendetta' TV show said to be in the works right now and I was wondering if you would rather see the TV show with a whole new cast and story or a sequel to the movie? It appears Natalie Portman wants to see a sequel and is on board for one. No. Not every movie needs a sequel and V is one of them.

No. Not every movie needs a sequel and V is one of them. You have a point but they are planning on making a TV show of it anyway so I was curious if more people wanted to see that or a movie. A TV show gives them a lot more time to do things they couldn't do in the movies and I am surprised Channel 4 in England is adapting it and Warner Bros don't look to be involved.

I don't think the UK needs Warner Bros permission to adapt V For Vendetta. The series did start in Warrior, by Quality Communications, before the anthology series was cancelled. Then DC Comics colored what was completed and allowed Moore and Lloyd to finish the story.
Quality publishes the V For Vendetta trade in the UK and I think they might still have control over ownership.

Yeah IP parameters can vary on stuff, I recall Kevin Smith talking about how he signed over the rights to Clerks outright to Miramax in regards to the US but he gets or got the rights back in the UK and maybe Europe this or next year I think, as I think it was 25 years they owned the copyright for it over here, so he's joked about doing Clerks the Musical on the west end and stuff.
I think that's also a thing with Terminator as multiple people own the different rights to it, like Cameron got or gets back the US rights but not international...fuck this shit is so confusing to me.

Why isn't she mentioned in the Star Wars movies anymore? They always talk about Anakin but Padmae is forgotten.

Because Anakin became Vader and Vader has a point after the prequels, they should have kept in the bits where Padame was one of the founders of the rebellion because that could then have been brought up as the symmetry between her and Leia, but instead movie wise she's reduced to being Anakins girl.

Novels aren't movies, hence why they are called novels, she's also going to be back in clone wars, but that's a tv show not a movie.

I didn't know 'V For Vendetta' originally started out under another company before it went to DC and I don't know that much about the series but assumed it was a DC title from day one 'cause a lot of sites call it a DC series. That sounds like what happened with 'Men In Black' and before 'Men In Black' (or 'The Men In Black' as it was originally titled) was under Marvel it was under Aircel Comics which was bought out by Malibu Comics series and then Malibu Comics was bought out by Marvel comics and it become a Marvel series. I am surprised DC didn't make them pass over the full ownership when they took the title 'cause that is what they have done with a number of series and one of the main reasons many writers choose to take their series to Image Comics over DC and Marvel.

I like how you have all your graphic novels scheduled to read on different weeks and months and if they are part of a volume that ends continued do you move on to a different one after reading it or do you read the second volume to see what happens next 'cause if it is something I am really interested in and haven't read before I have to see what happens next and I have bought up to 6-8 graphic novels of some titles and continued reading them up until the end. I also read novels in between reading graphic novels but I never read two novels at once 'cause you get confused that way and think something that happened in the other novel happened in the one you are reading.

I don't really make plans. I just read what I have, then eventually get around to buying the following volumes. No rhyme or reason to my madness.
Still have to get volume 2 of Empowered, an that has a total of 10 volumes! I have Darth Vader volume 2 but not volume 1. Need to change that. I have the hardback adaption of Attack of the Clones but not the Phantom Menace or Revenge of the Sith. But I do have all three adaptions of the original trilogy.

I generally read what I have too in between reading other volumes of graphic novels and novels but since I got Kindle a few years ago and I discovered they have a very large range of Lesbian Romance and Erotica novels on it I have been reading quite a few of those and some might think they are cheesy but I love Romance novels and Lesbian Erotica is better than Lesbian porn in my opinion and porn would be better if they adapted some of those. The problem with porn is it lacks the passion and the build up many Romance and Erotica novels have and when the two characters come together it isn't rushed and you want them to be together but one thing I don't appreciate about Erotica is some novels that have guys come into them and it becomes a threesome when it specifically states 'Lesbian' in the title and not 'Bisexual.'

Yeah, I hate how misleading the tag gay can be. Because all of a sudden a woman shows up and I'm like "Clearly we have different definitions of gay!"
But you are right, erotica does tend to be better then porn because their is more build up and porn is just "Let's get to the fucking as fast as possible!"

It is nice to know we are not alone. Yeah. They should have a warning on books that have that in them and not call label them Lesbian Romance or Lesbian Erotica 'cause it is not a Lesbian story when some guy turns up and it becomes a threesome but aside from that erotica is better than porn and Lesbian Porn would be a lot better if they made the movies adaptions of the novels and had the two characters fall in love and then have sex. Some Lesbian Porn sites are adding more storylines into the movies and Porn actresses want more of a build up and better storylines before but most are still straight to the sex with nothing else.
