I've never been quite clear on this. I know something can calm him down, like Natasha for example in AoU, but otherwise what is the stimuli that deHulks him? Is it a duration of time? And if so, how long can he stay the Hulk?

I know in the comics The Hulk sometimes changes back willingly, because either Bruce's scientific knowledge is required or because being Bruce draws less attention. It's always with some degree of reluctance, but that's one answer. Otherwise, I think its directly linked to riled up Bruce/Hulk's body is. Once The Hulk has calmed down enough, Bruce naturally reemerges.

I imagine he will remain in Hulk form most of the time. It'll be interesting to see.

It would certainly be safer for Bruce to just stay "submerged", so to speak. I know Mark Ruffalo's going to be in it, but I can't see how the Bruce half of the equation is going to be able to contribute much when he's in a hyper-advanced alien environment where they probably know more about science than he does.
