The Mad Monster / Sam Newfield (1942) The Giant Gila Monster / Ray Kellogg (1959) Nude On The Moon / Doris Wishman (1961) Tote Taube in der Beethovenstraße (Dead Pigeon On Beethoven Street) / Samuel Fuller (1974) More recent bad movies that will have you cringing and rolling in the aisles. The Beaver / Jodie Foster (2011) Patch Adams / Tom Shadyac (1998) I Am Sam / Jessie Nelson (2001) The Patriot / Roland Emmerich (2000) (Not that I'm picking on Mel Gibson or anything) Nude On The Moon / Doris Wishman (1961)
I respect anybody who can cite a Doris Wishman film as one of their favorites!
Thanks. I guess.

I've been letting this one sit for a while so I'll give it a go. Mine would be Batman & Robin. Terrible movie in every sense of the word, but very ironically enjoyable to sit through and have fun with at the same time.

That's a tough one...I own so many bad movies it's hard to choose a favorite. I watched Forest Warrior last night and that's a bad Chuck Norris movie.

How can a bad movie be a favourite? Cause to you they are not considered bad. They didn't do well with the box office or they didn't get good reviews.

Maybe Frogs! 1972 (Today the pond, tomorrow the world). I don't consider it a bad movie, but many people do so...

Trying my best to stay within what I think people would call a 'bad movie' standard (sort of that 'so bad, it's good' type of thing)...
Death Race 2000 (1975) (6.2/10 average on IMDb)
NOTE: I have seen Death Race 2000 probably three times or more by now.
p.s. I just went with 6.4/10 at the high end of the topic because anything higher I feel would have TOO high of a score to quality for a topic like this (hell, in general it's best to stick with the 5.9/10 or lower standard for a topic like this but I feel the movie I listed in the 6.0-6.4/10 bracket above is a good choice). plus, I did not simply select the movie I like the most in the 6.4/10 or lower average score range but instead selected the one I liked the most that fits inline with the topic.

How can a bad movie be a favourite?
ill say this... taking things literally, then what you said would be 100% correct in that a bad movie cannot be good.
but with that said, it appears your missing the OP's point... the OP is basically saying there are some movies you can easily see how people would consider them to be a 'bad movie' (sort of that, 'so bad, it's good' type of thing), but that you still personally like overall.
so basically you actually do like the movie you list in here and it's not actually a 'bad movie' in a literal sense, even though they sort of have a certain kind of feel to them to play inline with the topic. I am sure you get the gist of it

Most of them are bad, but I genuinely have a good time with 1-3 (with part 3 being my favourite).

Apologies! You know how it is- you get up at 4am to go to work.you get home and are too tired to eat so you relax by going on this site to converse with fellow fans and then suddenly your eyes blur and you struggle to make out all the letters in a film title..... and u even miss out a complete word! I mistook 'The Room; for 'Room' hence mu inane comment which sounded like sarcasm. I had not even heard of 'The Room' until this thread! I will google it right now! You're in for a treat! I first saw this thread a couple of days ago. I had never heard of The Room, either. I appealed to the Google Gods, and found that it was filmed here, in San Francisco. Then I saw a couple of scenes on YouTube. OMG! Today, I was wandering in a largely commercial neighborhood, and the local theater announced on the marquee that they're showing The Room, this weekend. It's a midnight showing, for all three nights, so I don't know that I'll attend. But, it would be fun to see it, sometime.
