Tara Moss is the author whose books I own the most of, which would probably make her my favourite female author (though I've enjoyed others too). Tara Moss is my favourite female Author too and I would also say she is my second favourite Author below Stephen King and I loved her 'Mackade Vanderwell' and 'Pandora English' series and am hoping we get the fourth novel in the 'Pandora English' series soon and her 'Mackade Vanderwell' series eventually gets adapted into movies or a TV show. Sadly she is struggling to get the fourth 'Pandora English' novel out which is why she hasn't had a new novel in quite some time and has moved over to writing nonfiction and doing other things and it is really a joke that somebody who a decade ago was our country's biggest selling author is struggling to release her novels and you might be interested in this.
taramoss.com/pandora/Thanks for mentioning that other book series she writes, DebLovesBeccy. I may well check those out once I finish the book series I'm currently partway through. What I found really interesting about Tara Moss was all the things she put herself through to give her actual knowledge of what they were like, thereby allowing her to write from experience. An example: "Stopping at nothing to research scenes for her latest novel Siren, Tara earned her PI licence, was set on fire by Hollywood stunt company West EFX, and choked unconscious by Ultimate Fighter 'Big' John McCarthy."

That's okay Chalice and yes, Tara put an enormous amount of work into her novels and that was something a lot of journalists and other authors have praised her for in the past and it is a shame to see such a talented author's skills being wasted now and hopefully she gets her career back on the ground and finds a new publisher to publish her novels but in some of her most recent interviews she sounds like she is disheartened by the industry and often speaks about how a lot of new writers she has met are finding it very difficult to become authors and often give up and pursue over lines of work. The two nonfiction books Tara has wrote are 'The Fictional Woman' and 'Speaking Out: A 21st Century Handbook For Women and Girls' and you should be able to get them at most book shops and it is also worth noting she hosted some TV shows like 'Tough Nuts', 'Tara In Conversation', 'Tara Moss Investigates' and 'Cyberhate With Tara Moss' which were all aired on Foxtel and ABC.

taramoss.com/pandora/Thanks for recommending the Pandora English series, DebLovesBeccy. I've gotten through most of the first book within two days and will definitely be reading the rest (hopefully the library has them). It's so good to find another series I enjoy, as I wasn't having much luck with the books I was getting out from the library (I'd start them, but not before long find that they just weren't keeping me interested/my cup of tea).

You're welcome and I am glad you are enjoying them Chalice and sadly there was meant to be another novel in the 'Pandora English' series that hasn't been released yet and I am not sure when it will see the light of day but Tara has said she is going to release it one day and the books she did get out in the series are worth checking out. Tara Moss was on the news recently and she has been busy with a lot of other things lately (as seen below) but she has told fans she is back to writing. A bit off topic but have you heard of Stephen King's new book, 'Elevation?' It just came out here recently and I got it at Big W and have yet to read it but some fans are saying it is one of his best novels and he released another novel earlier this year called 'The Outsider.' One novel I would suggest for you by a female author is 'The Chalk Man' by C.J. Tudor. She has only had two novels out so far but both are very good and 'The Chalk Man' and a lot of people are comparing her to Stephen King and Stephen King has praised 'The Chalk Man' too. Let her speak: Tara Moss calls for change to Tasmanian lawwww.news.com.au/lifestyle/real-life/news-life/let-her-speak-tara-moss-calls-for-change-to-tasmanian-law/news-story/b102c1e4685bb820c664308b80246526
