I only like Adam Sandler as Barry in Punch-Drunk Love. Otherwise he's just really annoying even if the film is good.
I assume much of the forum shares this opinion.

Eliza Dushku is another one, great as Faith in Buffy but after that any role she plays is kind of like Faith Lite. Missy Pantone isn't Faith Lite.

Case in point, Keanu Reeves.

Case in point, Keanu Reeves. First ... not everybody has to like Clint Eastwood. But to compare his work to Keanu Reeves or the other names in this thread is pretty weak. Clint Eastwood has been around in films from the late 1950's up into the 2010s. Next ... You think that ONLY the public liked Clint Eastwood? 12 Years Apart ... Best Actor Nomination OSCAR Nomination BEST ACTOR LEADING role - 2005OSCAR Nomination BEST ACTOR LEADING role - 1993***** 2 LEAD Oscar Nominations should make anyone not eligible for this thread ... which is about only being good in 1 role *****

Don't hate me. Benedict Cumberbatch. I had seen him in Atonement and disliked him immediately (though that might be an indication what a good actor he is!) but I only like him in Sherlock. After that, everything he does seems kinda repetitive of that somehow.

The one role where I've liked Henry Cavill thus far is as Napoleon Solo in The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Yes, I'd heard elsewhere that Henry Cavill's really good in that show, and that in some viewers' opinions he even managed to apparently 'steal the show' from Jonathan Rhys Meyers (who, funnily enough, I'll be seeing for the first time in a TV show tonight - although I've seen him in a few movies previously - when the Vikings Season 4 final airs here).
I have been meaning to check out The Tudors - if for no other reason than the fact that Natalie Dormer's in it. Actually, after looking at the cast list, I see quite a few actors/actresses I know from other things are in that show. Next time without anything to watch, I might check it out.

Daryl Hannah. I enjoyed her in Kill Bill, but to be honest, I really can't seem to like much else that she's done.

Reese Witherspoon gave a wonderful teen performance in "The Man in the Moon", but I haven't been a fan since.

Meryl Streep in Still of the Night. Nothing else Streep's done has had any interest for me at all.
