Billy Bob Thornton as Willie in Bad Santa Never cared to much for him in other roles. He was completely brilliant as Lorne Malvo in Fargo... although hes been brilliant in countless roles come to think of it.

Don't hate me. Benedict Cumberbatch. I had seen him in Atonement and disliked him immediately (though that might be an indication what a good actor he is!) but I only like him in Sherlock. After that, everything he does seems kinda repetitive of that somehow. Atonement might be the one trailer with him I got on a dvd and found definitely not attracting or worth botherin with. He looked dark blond, whiskered, and was raving about a 'moral' dilemna... Ew. Too bad I gave the dvd back, so there is no reference for now. Later, on he Benedict Cumberbatch board, they asked about which kind of romances he played in were favourite to the audience. From what it reads in the answers, it look like it's all more or less the same. (Some poster used a reference 'mr loveshack against mr hatemansion, and that's what describes it the best, imho.) No chance for a dreamlike performance in that kind of register (Lover boy, husband or dad), and quite a shame. Oh, well☺ Till later T

Alec Baldwin in Beetlejuice
I'll second Will Ferrell in Elf, anything else, soon as I hear his name, nope, nope, not interested.
Also second Meryl Streep, but in Mamma Mia.

Natalie Portman in Leon. I adored that girl in that film. To me, it looked like she had a serious future in acting, thus I observed her since. What a disappointment she has been. From the most promising child actor to Madame Milledouche. Tragic. I didn't care much for the movie Black Swan, for which she won the Oscar for - the one I knew she would after first watching her in Leon back in 1994.

I have often said that Ryan Gosling was the major recipient of the Kuleshov effect (look it up). But in "The Good Guys" (which I didn't like as a whole) Gosling shows a surprising flair for comedy.

Same thing with Chloe Moretz, that i like only in Let Me In. Chloe Moretz kicks ass in Kick-Ass If you liked her in that then check out Chloë getting medieval on a gremlin in "Shadow In The Cloud."

TOM CRUISE.
I like exactly one film he has starred in: 2008's Valkyrie (...Cruise is quite good in it, even though he's almost a full foot too short for the role).
