I haven't seen it. Haven't decided yet if I will or won't. Glad you enjoyed it.

It was all right. i have not read the comics so I'm not familiar with the characters. But I enjoyed the show. The pacing could have been better but that's a common problem with many Marvel shows, and it's not a deal breaker.

I think it was okay. I wasn't a huge fan of the show and preferred 'Marvel's The Runaways' and 'The Gifted' more but I am going to watch the second season when it comes back on and am interested in seeing what happens with Brigid O'Reilly's character. I knew the actress who played her looked familiar but I couldn't figure out where I had seen her before and then I worked out it was Jennifer from 'Haven' with longer hair.

See. Clark Kenting does work. It does sometimes but I think most people would pick up on it after they have seen it a few times especially with what we are lead to see in 'Lois and Clark' for example with Lois, Jimmy and Perry seeing Clark and Superman up close quite often. Aside from the glasses and brushing his hair differently I never got how people couldn't tell Clark and Superman sounded the same when they talked and how does nobody pick up on that on a phone?

Which is what I liked in Smallville and Lois pointed out it takes more than glasses Clark needs to be a whole other persona to Superman, he needs to be self conscious, apologetic, a little snively and unconfrontational, which make sense, you make it so no one could buy Superman is pretending to be this meek putz everyone pushes around, sadly most of the time TV & film haven't managed to pull this off, wanting Clark to seem more like a lead as well as Superman.

Chris Reeve showed it best. It's the clothes, the posture, the voice, and hairstyle that comes together with the glasses to make him seem so different from Superman.

Yeah. The writers of 'Smallville' went out their way more to make Clark Kent and Superman two different personas at the end much like Christopher Reeve's Clark Kent was in the 'Superman' movies but in 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' Clark Kent and Superman are pretty much the same and the show made a point of focusing more on Clark Kent and saying Clark Kent was the real person Superman was and Superman was just the hero he was seen as to others when he put on the costume. The biggest problem I found with 'Smallville' if they had continued it past Season 10 there were a number of characters from the ten year history of the show that knew Clark from before and should be able to recognise him without the glasses and not fall for the act if they had run into him in Metropolis and Lana and Pete for example would have had to know Clark was Superman.

I loved 'Kill Bill 1 and 2' and I wonder if we will ever get to see a 'Kill Bill 3.' Uma Thurman has been talking about it for years and Quentin Tarantino said earlier this year it is definitely a possibility and he wants to make one but there are sadly a number of movie sequels like that which are talked about for years and never happen but then some do like the sequel to 'Sin City' so it is anybody's guess at this point. I think if they make a third one it needs to be renamed.

We need more classics like that. A third film shouldn’t be hard to name if they change the title and take Bill’s name out of it they can just call it the next person Uma is going to kill. If it’s a Glen call it Kill Glen if it is a Susan call it Kill Susan. If it is a Steve and Michael call it Kill Steve and Mike and if it is Cheryl coming back from the dead call it Fuck you Cheryl you dumb bitch, stay dead.

If you enjoyed Kill Bill you might want to check out Lady Snowblood, which was a major influence on Kill Bill.

Bill was completely full of shit with his description of Superman and Clark Kent.
I totally love both Kill Bill volume 1 and volume 2, but Bill was talking out his butt in that scene.

What does he say?
I could watch the clip I know but I vehemently despise Tarantino and as such refuse to watch his bollocks but I am curious what bullshit got said.

Here's the crap;
As you know, l’m quite keen on comic books. Especially the ones about superheroes. I find the whole mythology surrounding superheroes fascinating. Take my favorite superhero, Superman. Not a great comic book, not particularly well-drawn, but the mythology. The mythology is not only great, it’s unique…Now, a staple of the superhero mythology is, there’s the superhero and there’s the alter ego. Batman is actually Bruce Wayne, Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker. When that character wakes up in the morning, he’s Peter Parker. He has to put on a costume to become Spider-Man. And it is in that characteristic Superman stands alone. Superman didn’t become Superman. Superman was born Superman. When Superman wakes up in the morning, he’s Superman. His alter ego is Clark Kent. His outfit with the big red “S”, that’s the blanket he was wrapped in as a baby when the Kents found him. Those are his clothes. What Kent wears – the glasses, the business suit – that’s the costume. That’s the costume Superman wears to blend in with us. Clark Kent is how Superman views us. And what are the characteristics of Clark Kent? He’s weak, he’s unsure of himself, he’s a coward. Clark Kent is Superman’s critique on the whole human race.

To be fair, Bill was the villain in that movie so the writers probably deliberately had him say that line to annoy some comic book fans 'cause you don't want to make the villain too likable or you will have to turn them into an antihero.

Why are they antiheroes? Where did that come from? Shouldn’t an anti hero be a villain and an anti villain be a hero?

Not all heroes are good and noble. Some of them break the rules or fight a tad dirty. They're still good guys but they're no angels.
