I like over the edge the best I think. Also rivers edge is great. Sometimes I’m not sure if a movie is considered a cult classic so there’s probably tons more that aren’t coming to my mind right now

That's no problem here Jay
it can be a bit tricky trying to find out which movies are " considered Cult Films " by the masses
( and why I also provided the Wiki Cult Films List
on my subject post here in case we get stumped also ) .
I just checked the wiki list and discovered
this film wasn't on it .
Although I have never seen this one before
to me here it does seem from it's storyline formula
it has all the makings to be a cult film .
So we will call it " Jay's personal cult film " here .
I didn't know it was the very first feature film of actor Matt Dillon also .
is on this list as a cult film
and I agree it is definitely
another good one too -
an old time favorite indeed .
Thanks so much Jay for your
film recommendations and your reply here too .

I totally agree here too movielover .
has always been an
awesome cult film choice for me too .
IMPO - It always had a " John Carpenter feel " to it as well ( which surprised me years later that it wasn't his work ) .
Thanks so much for your reply .

A excellent list of cult film selections here maxwellperfect .
Although I recognize these movie titles from over the years
However I still keep a look out for these on
the COMET channel or other similar channels too .
I so agree here " Carnival of Souls " has definitely made my list as well .
Thanks so much for your film recommendations and your reply .

REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS - 86' LOL! Her face just cracks me up! Can you imagine going to get your stuffed bunny and looking up to that! Oh, Edna, you make the Grinch pleasant by comparison. You know Pat Ast had to have the most wonderfully fun personality. "I know I have a beautiful voice! But I don't make these rules to hear myself talk!" And what the heck are those things she's got in her hair? They look like pipe cleaners.

That's the very same reaction the second
I went on this reply here dirtypillows
I actually said " what the ! " aloud .
Of course I checked this Cult film out on Wikipedia
and it was like you mentioned above here
I know this personally because
I used to get those type of perms many years ago
these were so uncomfortable and tight indeed but so worth it in the end too - wash and go hair for months .

I have a huge fan base of this film living in my house. Unfortunately they are termites and they are such avid fans that they ate the cover off of my laserdisc copy.

"Private Parts", 1972, Paul Bartel "Halloween" "Creepshow" "Mommie Dearest" "A Boy and His Dog" "Reform School Girls" "Horror Of Party Beach" "Female Trouble" "Polyester" "Strait Jacket" (or just about anything from William Castle) "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?"

You are welcome, mszanadu! I have never seen "Rocky Horror Picture Show". I went to a midnight showing of it once, but there was all the audience participation and I was not able to actually watch it. I should rent it some time. But I also really liked "Xanadu". Olivia and Gene have some chemistry. And the ELO soundtrack is just about the best soundtrack ever! My favorite ELO song is "The Fall" and it's from this movie. "Carnival of Souls" is good, too.
