It appears that at some point in the movie, she dies.
How does that happen?
Also, at the end of the movie, Josh Hutcherson's character and his sister enter the kingdom of Terabithia.
What's going on in that scene? Is it imaginary or real? And how does it relate to AnnaSophia's character's death, if at all?
Thank you.

Wait, you watched it right? The rope they use to swing across the river broke and then she drowned. The camera foreshadowed the hell out of that when she first swung across the rope.

I've been watching it in bits and pieces.
Thank you very much, though.
What about the whole Terabithia thing, especially at the end?

I've been watching it in bits and pieces. Thank you very much, though. What about the whole Terabithia thing, especially at the end? At the end, Jesse allows his sister to join him in Terabithia, whereas before he never let her join them because it was his and Leslie's secret imaginary kingdom. By letting the little sister play with him in Terabithia he was showing that he wouldn't let go of all that Leslie taught him: creativity, imagination, escapism, etc.
