I watched this moderately futuristic (in mid-60s European style) flick last night, and this seems like the right board for it. Good fun, but it's not for people who want to see a lot of action scenes. It's played with a strong sense of humor. Marcello Mastroianni is charismatic, and Ursula Andress looks fantastic.

I liked it. What other film imagines a future where comic books are high art and Ursula Andress is shown reading one.

Ursula Andress' pants have the best supporting role.

A ve-e-e-ery ‘60s artifact that quite annoyed me at first – I think mainly it is the ersatz “cool jazz” score that never shuts up for a minute. But by the ending, I was totally wrapped up in how it was going to finish.
The ending with its multi-layered trickeries by both parties is quite interesting. The story is, of course, just another variation on the “Most Dangerous Game” theme. It is the same theme that has inspired “Battle Royale” in Japan and “The Hunger Games” in America.
